Synopsis : The New York Harlem Singers, a group of eight soul singers from the US are set to perform in a charity concert to raise funds for the poor this Christmas.

Joining them are Malaysia's own Aseana Percussion Unit, The KL Children's Choir, tenor Tan Wei Han and soprano Irma Lailatul. The show will be hosted by Terrence Dass and Angelene Chong.

Established in 1996, The New York Harlem singers are George Caldwell (Pianist), Ramona Dunlap (Soprano), Natasha Williams (Soprano), Charity Dawson (Mezz-Soprano), James Alexander (Tenor), Wayne Pretlow (Baritone), Richard J. Bellazzin (Bass), Leopoldo Fleming (Percussionist).

Presented by Hope worldwide Kuala Lumpur, an international charity that harnesses the compassion and commitment of dedicated staff and volunteers to deliver sustainable, high impact community-based services to the poor and needy.

They hope to raise funds through this concert to sustain various ongoing programmes, support continuous operation of free clinics in Kuala Lumpur and Penang and to set up a building fund for the Centre of Hope, that houses all activities and also acts as a community centre.
