But as quoted by a user on the MTV Multiplayer web site, this could set the pace of a Call of Duty release each year as the user explains: "The naming convention of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 resulted in a chuckle from me. It is like Final Fantasy X-2. More importantly, who wants to bet that there will be a Call of Duty: World at War 2 now?".
Along with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, announcements were made for Guitar Hero 5, a new Tony Hawk game and a brand new racing title, all to be released later next year. No huge details were released for any of the games.
