Hey peeps,

I'm using iPhone 3G, FW 2.1, maxis with gevey turbo sim. Not using 3G yet, so rely on GPRS for now. Having this problem now.

The EDGE logo appears initially, and but then it would disappear mysteriously . After it disappear, I'm not able to make it appear again, even though I turned the "Data Roaming" off and on again. Everytime I need to restart my phone only it will appear again.

I've put in all the settings for APN blah blah blah.

Any idea what's the problem? and how to fix it?

sounds a lot like a SIM card problem to me.


however you can eliminate such possibility by trying out the identical card with another iphone (at the same position where the E mysteriously disappear)
