Recently, cimb and other brokerage have been promoting their online stock trading. What I know is one can start with as little as rm500 or rm 1k? If I start off with rm1k, is it possible for me to diversify my portfolio since there's not much lot i can buy....? So in conclusion, is the probability of having loss higher than those have more capital?

I am new to this and I don't want to trade stock based on luck and sort of like 'hantam all in 1 or 2 company'. Rm1k is still money..;p;

If capital is small, while still want to have diversification, then ETF of UT is the better choice.
