Hi all,
Is it do'able'? I mean let say if I purchase an NTSC/J console and I want to convert them to NTSC/U permanently, can i do it?
I read on the net that changing the hex key will trigger the console to act into NTSC/J or NTSC/U but you cant have both.

Thanks

never read before. but changing to a ntsc/u machine means less options for games and more expensive prices

ntsc/u has more options to game iirc. rockband, rb2 etc are all released in the US first and later on will go to asia if they decided to

haha, but still have games like rb available in nstc/j....... just that it's slower...but as said, if us games, probably you will need to pay 40-50 extra compore to nstc/j games....

i think its useless to convert it to NTSC/U....if in malaysia NTSC/J would be fine enough , Most of gameshop here also sell Asia Version..Unless back to states and stay there then it worth it.
