You really can't rely on those stuff because once you stop, you'll gain back your weight. It is really bad for health also.
Best is to eat moderately and exercise
Take the stairs and not the elevator,
go walk in a park or join dancing class
if you drink milo, starbucks, chatime those drinks, cut them ALL OUT and drink plain water ONLY.
