i can see why they don't release the rotate firmware, because you can manually rotate the screen by sliding the slider opposite direction, while phones like N82 (first phone with rotation firmware) cannot do that so it needs the auto rotate function. moreover, it's advisable to keep it off to save a lot of battery.

i remember last time when colour phone just become popular, spending RM1k is already consider high price tag, and those who spend RM3k on communicator considered siao siao.

now? many kids now leh not RM3k don't want.

some guys over esato forum reported that the SE C905 outperformed 8mp CCD equipped J-phones. it even make japanese envy. jphone is jphone, they have their own greatness, but not always better than international brand phones. jphone is imho specifically made for what japanese want, while international brand will make for what the whole world will want. mind you, many japanese always carry digicam in their handbag or slingbag/carry bag, not like malaysian.

DSLR is great because of lens, sensor, mechanism, dedicated photo process chips with mature image processing code. you try stuck a big big sensor in a phone, but with cheap lens and paria processing, see if they look nice.

because phone cannot take as much details as digicam. so higher pixel count can give more details although 8mp phone is probably equal to a good 5mp digicam.

i watched again all those live demo of N97, the more i watch the more i was sold. baddddd nokia, bad nokia!

really hope to see this launch. should be a great hit! now i'm stucked between getting this or sacrifice many hardware features for a 8.1 camera with LED+xenon - SE C905.
