the n97 wont have xenon flash but led flash?? dual leds?? am i right?

yeah...it looks like SE X1 but much bigger screen than even 5800 and of course x1 too..

seems like phone nowadays are more towards qwerty keypads..

i think s60 v5 is becoming quite stable now but i dont really like the touchscreen of the 5800. i hope n97 could copy something like iphone's touchscreen.

"official" launch date in asia will be much later, usually...after euro countries are done with the launch..

nop.. not like iphone exactly..

yup can get ap set too but nokia will launch it's phones here not that much later after europe.. as for iphone.. i've read that just recently maxis is bringing it in officially...after i donno how many years since the iphone 2g..

so if n97 is "just like iphone" we would probably wait 2-3 years to get the original warranty by avaxx or zitron

Actually Apple doesnt have Malaysia in their list of approved countries that iphones will be released in. Singapore got on that list..

I would really like if Nokia Malaysia have the same release dates as European countries. if euro have n97 end of this year, then we would be happy to have them at the same time.. biggrin.gif

Yeah package rm1650? but contract for how long? 1 year or two years and at least rm100 per month on bills right? so it's the same price as an iphone selling outside.

just want to remind u though.. phone costing rm 25xx-28xx only has a 2mp crappy camera? come on now.. i cant live with that.

Yeah. maybe so if you're more towards touchscreen.

If you want an ALL in one power house, can either get high end models of N series like n97 or e90.

I do agree and i think it will be really similar to 5800's touch screen. Can't even compare to iphone's touchscreen capabilities.

But camera and features wise.. N series is much much better than iphone 3g.

but yes i do agree that iphone is a pretty phone, functions wise of course n series wins. an iphone is sub 2k, but only has 2mp camera? wth? not worth the prettyness...hehe

I think it will still be expensive as the price of ORI goes because we can see this happen on the n96.

n96 isn't a great phone - no 3d chip, just dual led flash, stability probs and small capacity battery (same exact batt like on the old n95)

but given all that disadvantage and lack of features n96 is still much more expensive than the better n85, n95 8gb, n95.

but nokia is still one of the most popular if not the most popular brand of hp in malaysia and around the world. this is the reason why lower spec nokia phones are still more expensive than, or same price with higher spec samsung, lg or other branded phones.

Oh yeah i forgot. Does anybody have information, previews of the speaker loudness / sound quality of n97? i hope that it's as loud as n96.
