I think it will still be expensive as the price of ORI goes because we can see this happen on the n96.

n96 isn't a great phone - no 3d chip, just dual led flash, stability probs and small capacity battery (same exact batt like on the old n95)

but given all that disadvantage and lack of features n96 is still much more expensive than the better n85, n95 8gb, n95.

thats why its a tough competition out there between mobile phone manufacturers.. I surely hope they decide n97 to be cheaper so many fans can purchase.. hehe

but nokia is still one of the most popular if not the most popular brand of hp in malaysia and around the world. this is the reason why lower spec nokia phones are still more expensive than, or same price with higher spec samsung, lg or other branded phones.

they have to upgrade everything in order to compete in the market la. LG Arena already has built in 3d chip, so if nokia lags that, they solely depend on loyalty for the sales which i think is not a viable business plan for them la. Even the touchscreen needs massive improvement. Capacitive touchscreen is the standard today really. If nokia still revels in the days of resistive type, they will fall back in the long run la.

Yeah in terms of touchscreen phones, Samsung and LG are leading the way, besides Apple. Nokia is seriously lacking in this area. That's y the touchscreen market is controlled by other manufacturers and not nokia. 5800's popularity is fading with all these new touchscreen phones coming out especially when Maxis officially released Apple iPhones in their contract packages.

n93i, N95, N82 & N95 8gb all have 3d chips but i'm quite confused as to why the newer and supposedly better flagship N96 doesnt have a 3d chip.

I mean its like a dito copy of the 5800XM apart from 5mp cam & 32gig internal( which i think is useless, its a mobile not a computer!!!)

I mean the 5800 also has a qwerty keyboard but a virtual one and well as far as documents,pdfs,word,etc are concerned... you can just purchase quick office in 5800 or in any nokia symbian 3.2 or 5 phone and view all your documents

this phone is a statement phone... who has it, will make a statement, I have lots of money... undeniable, that I love the white one.. and if the price is to high, and I have to forget about it...
