Just curious what kind of Finance Apps you guys using right now? I just purchased Pocket Money today (it's on sales $4.99 from $8.99)... quite intuitive to use, you can add in multiple account, do transaction, and can add in your budget to control spending.

However, anyone try Money apps before? Kinda high rating but expensive...

Any good dictionary to recommend? I bought Wordbook Dictionary, however a bit dissapointed with the build-in pronunciation, even the free Powerword Basic can pronounce faster and clearer.

For those staying in Penang, can try to download PG bridge as it provide updated access to webcams in key traffic spot of Penang bridge.

You can customize ur budget by daily, weekly, monthly or yearly with Pocket Money... i also have Xpenselt but not very useful as it only can track expenses but no income monitoring.

izzit? just click on the budget, click + and select which category u wan to add, and key in ur budget. for eg, add in food rm400 per month.. so when ever u buy food, click on the > arrow, add in your expenses (u can link it to ur account, let say if u withdraw from RHB, then it will auto deduct from RHB) then click done and u can see ur remaining budget.

Remember to add in your income in the budget category, then u will know how much money u can save per month.

Ok, let says u create a new item in Accounts, click + add "Cash"
for eg, this Cash account u add in deposit RM200... so u have RM200 show at the 'Current Balance'

Then u click Budget button, add in Food budget RM100. Click arrow, spend RM2 (select withdraw from Account - Cash - it will auto deduct from ur cash account)

then back to budget front page, u can see green colour bar on the Food section. Left side is the amount u spent, right side is the amount left, that u still can spend within the budget. So left side shld show RM2, right side RM98.
Then below it, if the big sum is in red colour that means your account is in negative.

So in the Budgets-Income section, add in ur budget for income eg +salary RM2000, then click the arrow and place a deposit of RM2000 (eg from company cheque) Then return to the Budgets page, u can see the Income budget for your salary is in yellow bar (ie the budget has been fulfilled)

Below the lower right will show green colour font with amount RM1998 saved. Left side will show "Income RM2000 of RM2000 & Expenses RM2 of RM100 (this is the budget that u key in, it will add up all ur budget together)

So if u create budget for food rm100, budget for entertainment rm100, transport rm100, and so far only spend rm2 for food, then the Expenses bar will show RM2 of RM300.

it's useful when u have a lot bank account, cash in different currencies, fixed deposit, bond, mutual fund, current account, few credit cards... it's easier to trace the money between account transfer... at least now with a glance, i can know how much liquid cash i have : )

of cos if u only hv 1 bank account, just use cash to buy groceries, then no need lar, just jot down on paper good enough.

hmm.. yup i think it's auto update, i've checked the USD rate in Pocket Money is 3.62 today and the XE.com currency exchange shows 3.61878.

Ya it doesn't auto update the fund account, just a record only. Anyway, no eyes to see the mutual fund nowdays

The good thing is after u add in withdraw or deposit, u can always edit the value again, kinda flexible. PocketMoney is not the best apps, I'm looking at 'Money' apps which have higher rating and better graphic, but still expensive so waiting for sales

I've downloaded a free puzzle game called Sheepish. Kinda fun and cute graphic! Recommended.

Eh since u mention that, i think it only use the latest conversion rate when u add in new transaction, after that it won't auto update. Not sure about that...
