Well, I did kena a problem with Facebook that caused my iPod to go bonkers... Because of that, I had to delete the program but that was several months ago...

Now, I've reinstalled Facebook and it seems to be doing fine thus far... thumbup.gif

Are you sure?

Apps won't corrupt a whole iPod to the extent that it needs to be restored... shocking.gif

I've found 1 app for free ( forgot the name and my touch is out of battery after installing that app haha ) ... does everything good BUT needs to be connected to the internet to use ... susah la like tat ...

Would be great if someone know of similar app that does it OFFLINE .. don't mind the price coz i'll travel alot for work to "non-english" places

If you only need 1 specific language to another, there's a number of dictionaries available (mostly paid) that don't require an internet connection, and have gotten some good reviews.
There's also iTranslate which offers a number of specific dictionaries and and ultimate version (which has a lite version). You can only translate with an internet connection, but you can save some phrases for later.

I'm particularly interested with Thai and German for now .. do you have any experience / recommendations ?

iTranslate is the one I've got, can't seems to "save some phrases for later" like u've said. HOWEVER, I've found this another app called "myLanguage" which does stuff like you said, you need a connection to search but the results are saved in your touch ... pretty neat ..

If anyone has other suggestion for all-in-one OFFLINE translation map, kindly recommend me smile.gif thanks ! Else myLanguage seems okay for now

Hi guys, here are the gaming apps that I often play on my iPod (yes, I have other apps like YM, MySpace, facebook, etc, but many have already discussed about it):

- Flight Control
- Fieldrunner
- Supermarket Mania
- Build-a-lot
- Peggle
- Airport Mania
- Harbor Master
- Touchsports Tennis
- Real Soccer 2009
- etc

Thus far, spent about $40 for these gaming apps smile.gif

I don't understand, what is SS?

LOL .. can't find online screenshots ahh? The game has been there for almost 1 year now (and naturally price dropped from $4.99 to $0.99 recently).

Real Soccer is great, you should get it especially at only 99 cents. I bought it when it was around 7.99 or so, still great value at the time.

Some will say that X2 Football is better, and to a certain extent it is. However it has a few gameplay glitches which are very annoying, like defence and gk problems, so maybe wait for an update to come before plunging for the game.

I've tried X2 Football LITE version, yeah, it was pretty good, but I was not ready to fork out $$ for it just yet.

I did check the price trending of RS 2009, indeed it started at $7.99 then $4.99 and now $0.99

been having tough luck with Beejive's 'Push' function, plus often crashes.. same goes to IM+ v3.0.. until i updated it to 3.2, it works perfectly! ym, msn, google chat, fb.. notifications finally pop up either on standby or locked screen instantly! smile.gif

no more beejives for me, but i do admit it has a better ui than im+ messenger..

as for facebook, i nvr faced any prob since day1.. seen a few screenshots on d net of the upcoming version, cant wait for the update..

Sorry, no experience to offer yet, just been checking out translators for a trip in Europe. iTranslate has an ultimate edition (just search itranslate ultimate) which offers 5 dictionaries, it's 80% off at 2USD at the moment; but there's no Thai so don't know if it's any use to you. The lite version of the ultimate seems worth a download at least, as I couldn't find any limitations in the software, just ads.

edit: just found a free thai-english dictionary called "Thai Dict" that says it can be used offline: haven't managed to check it out yet though, ipod isnt with me
