Haha, do we actually need to buy these kind of app? I mean you know we're adults lol and we certainly know how to spend our money wisely isn't it xD Or does these apps actually teach you how to invest lol apart from recording ur expenditure.

Haha, you got a point. I'd rather make my own money manager on a notepad or what. If I really am in need of one, I would just make my own program for the psp rather than forking out money for it.

Those sort of money managing apps would be very useful for businessmen... I think lol

it's useful when u have a lot bank account, cash in different currencies, fixed deposit, bond, mutual fund, current account, few credit cards... it's easier to trace the money between account transfer... at least now with a glance, i can know how much liquid cash i have : )

of cos if u only hv 1 bank account, just use cash to buy groceries, then no need lar, just jot down on paper good enough.

Exactly.
Anyway, I want to ask... does Pocket Money auto update the currency exchange?

Also, I know it doesn't auto-updates or link with the funds,
but how do you update your mutual fund account value in Pocket Money? Just '+' withdrawals and deposits?

I see, now it makes more sense to me. Din know that you can manage a lot of accs simultaneously, thought one can just manage one acc at a time. Sounds kinda useful to me now smile.gif May be i shall give it a try notworthy.gif

hmm.. yup i think it's auto update, i've checked the USD rate in Pocket Money is 3.62 today and the XE.com currency exchange shows 3.61878.

Ya it doesn't auto update the fund account, just a record only. Anyway, no eyes to see the mutual fund nowdays cry.gif cry.gif

The good thing is after u add in withdraw or deposit, u can always edit the value again, kinda flexible. PocketMoney is not the best apps, I'm looking at 'Money' apps which have higher rating and better graphic, but still expensive so waiting for sales tongue.gif

I've downloaded a free puzzle game called Sheepish. Kinda fun and cute graphic! Recommended.

Yalah, so d@mn sad. I just let the standing instruction run itself. Maybe 5, 10 years later it'll turn into something worthwhile. sweat.gif

Do you know how often does it update the currency exchange?

Remember to do a review and post a notice here when there's a sale for Money.

cry.gif need to wait 5 years, so long ar? cry.gif

Eh since u mention that, i think it only use the latest conversion rate when u add in new transaction, after that it won't auto update. Not sure about that...

Yalah Jady, what to do.
All mutual funds are like that. 5-10 years only will the profits be significant.

Eh, can use a different currency for my budget?
I remember I could do it in the Lite version.

I'm using CHA-CHING for a finance app. It's easy to use and perfect for me since I don't really need so detailed, just for my own budget control. smile.gif

What are you guys using for an organizer app? I'm using Informant which is pretty good, but just wondering if there are any better apps out there.

These apps are just tools to help you manage your finance in a more proper way. Even as an adult, I don't think we could easily track what we spend beginning of the month. I use these apps to manage my cash flow. ensure i dont over spend and save.

Guys, get "Pocket God" from the iTunes store. It costs $0.99 and it's really fun to play. It's a simple "islander" sort of a game where you can choose to add more islanders, feed them to a shark, toss them into to volcano, drop a boulder on them, make them dance and so on.

It's a very interesting concept, so give it a shot smile.gif
