recently I've been thinking in upgrading my ultimate 32 bit to 64 bit

but what i need to know is just, can i have them both without formatting the 32 one?

Im using 64 bit Vista ultimate. i think there is got issues with remote desktop settings. if im not mistaken la.if i remote from outside,only vista got problem.other OS shud be ok.

during booting windows later, is there any option that tell me to choose between of them?

i'm quite worried 64 bit cause so much trouble later..that's all

if it's from the same DVD box, no...

i think the EULA got say, only 1 copy (either 64-bits or 32-bits) can exist at any one time... think got to do with the key...

not sure if dual booting violates it though...

Mainly the amount of RAM supported by 64-Bit is more than that the amount of RAM supported by 32-Bit (Max of 3.8GB but 64-Bit can support more).

If you utilize more than 4GBs of RAM, then yes, 64-Bit is definitely better than 32-Bit.

if for gaming and graphic purpose, for sure go for 64-bit?

Its' not about gaming or graphics, it's about the amount of RAM, you'll utilize. If you play a lot of games and use Photoshop intensively but don't use more than 4GB of RAM, no point going for 64-Bit. Btw, 32-Bit can only utilize 3.8GB++ of RAM.
