Jaya ONe is only a few KM away from my uni...
Its a nice place with good ambience.. Try Simply Fusion. It's good n quite affordable. Nice area... Try sitting at the back
Or else for more budget eats, try Tapers.
In Jaya One, flash ur student ID and get 10% discount in most outlet.

yups. im from UM. i visit there quite often. Food in taperz : hainanese food and also western. Loads of ppl during lunch hours coz it's more economical. There's a thai food there which is quite expensive but it's good.
Besides there, the Old town there isn't as nice as other old town...
If your budget is about RM20 per person then try Simply Fusion. The pasta is good.

Duck King = ok but very pricey
Wendy's burger = oily and not nais
Old town = sux

actually i've tried alot there including the overseas rest that shifted previously from amcorp mall.
and the jaya one noodle house, sux. they used to be ok when they were still in the old jaya supermarket. i saw my portion got downsized by alot.
nandos ....i dun touch that stuff.

my next target is the thai rest opposite duck king.

Wendy's i like! tongue.gif Old Town, ok la the food. some noodles are nice, the nasi lemak i ordered was lousy. and that 1 meal alone (2 drink + 2 average / sub-standard food) cost me nearly RM 30, might as well go eat at Wendy's.

Getting around with a wheelchair at Jaya One is pretty easy, theyre well equipped with huge disabled parking lots next to very wide ramps.

Just a heads up. =)

the stupid thing about Jaya One is you can't get from 1 block to another without being wet unless you figure out the paths that are covered.

for me, i want to go from Car Park to meet client at Old Town. So no choice have to go down to donno that Fireman restaurant floor, up that small flight. dash across a bit and walk along Nandos. sad.gif
