Can any Iswaras/Sagas owners recommend to me on what type of adjustable suspension is good to get?
I'm thinking bout changing to Hotbits Hi/Low Silver Series or HWL.
Do u guys know how much they cost now?
I currently using Improve Propex Sport short stoke absorber on my 2005 Saga aeroback.
The problem is, the absorber is hard to press down when the car is idle.
But during cornering or U-turn, the body roll is too much and it feels like one side of the tyres is lifted off the road.
1 more question. Can a HI/Low Soft/Hard be fitted on my Saga?
Thanks a lot!

How much? Or what is the model?
HI/LOW only for front?
Adjustable for rear?

The car air cond switch is like a NOS button.
If u need extra power switch the knob to off.
U will get 1-2HP more in an instant.

Normally the jerking will be felt most on carburator type car.
Change to a lighten crank pulley may help also.
Make sure during the air cond kicks in, engine idle speed should be around 900rpm or slightly above your engine idle speed.

Michelin PP2 now cost around RM215 for 195/50/15 nowdays if not mistaken.

I bought mine in Penang for RM204 last July.
Well, performance is very good in wet and dry.
Suspension also must be good.
But the best so far I used is Goodyear Eagle F1.
Attached Image
Attached Image
I can say perfect wet and dry.
Cost a bit more than PP2 around RM235 during July.
But wat I dun like bout the Goodyear is the screeching noise it makes during cornering at multi storey car park (slow) and on during long turn hard conering (roundabout).
Comes with rim protector at tyre sidewall.
Or else it would be the perfect tyre for me. IMHO

Or maybe you guys can do some survey over here.
Extreme Performance
Max Performance
Ultra High Performance
High Performance
Bridgestone RE-01R does not come in size 15". More on 17" and above.

Heavy or lighter. I'm not sure bout dat.
The tyre compound are 2 plies steel, 2 plies polyester, 1 ply polyamide.
Honestly, i like more on Michelin Pilot Sport PS2.
But it's for 17" and above tyre size only.

Hey guys! Im planning to change my iswara lowered Improve Propex to Hotbits Silver Series adjustable pretty soon.
Izit recommended for me to change to a harder spring rate at the front (Silver Series sport spring) than the one came with in the rear (Silver Series spring) ?
Can I mix the spring rate?
Iswara tends to oversteer (backends feels wobbly) at conering but will the harder spring at the front will help to minimize the oversteer?
Really a headache for me.
Thank u Thank u.

Well, the front is Hi/Low adjustable only and the rear is short stroke absorber only.
No more adjustment can be made at the back. Try to find other brands that follow the GAB adjustable method for Vios where the rear spring can be adjusted.
But cannot find any for Iswara.
There r no other brands to choose.

but according to this article Click

Increasing front absorber rebound damping (izit the same as changing the spring rate?) will help to decrease the oversteer?

For saga/iswara/lmss/lmst, the best suspension setup is using stock absorber and pair with 'lowered sport spring'. Cause the stock absorber is in not soft and not hard category. Fit our car weight perfectly. If you have more budget, go for custom make titan. But of course the price is much more expensive.

But with that setup, the absorber will spoil pretty soon.
Won't last long.
Happened to me the 1st time when i changed to a lowered sport spring (Datco Brand).

I guess is the camcover rubber seal has gone.
I replaced once already around 46000km.
Ask a mechanic to do it for u. For Iswara, labour + new rubber seal RM25.
40 mins duration. Have to wait the engine gets colder first.
Better change it fast, or else the engine bay becomes dirty. Dirt likes to stick on the oil.
Summore u can c the inside of your top engine during the process. brows.gif
I got time to take some photos while the mechanic go to wash my camcover. tongue.gif

Urm, 1 question.
Wat can we do the the engine breather that connects to OE air filter?
Mine is removed from it's original location after i changed to K&N air filter.
Now just left it dangling in the engine bay with a small air filter strapped at the tube's end.
Can I link the two engine breather tube to the OCT that i made?

wat does it do or connect alignment wit vibrations? ?  doh.gif
there's nothing wrong wit alignment n trust me how bad is ur alignment will neve ever effect ur vibration prob~
alignment again? ?  doh.gif

Does he fix sport rims?
Especially 8 nuts sport rims?
8 nuts sport rims require a spacer to be fix.
If the steering vibrates at certain high speed eventhough wheel balancing and alignment has being done, ask him to do "on wheel balancing".
It's different than normal wheel balancing.
IMHO hmm.gif

I think it's the brake pad or the brake disc haven't reach it's optimum operating temperature yet.

thingking should I overhaul whole engine
*
How much u did for a new clutch pad + labour?
Put ori back or upgrade to other brands?
How long u use until u changed? Odometer?
Thank U!!

Maybe yor problem is related to faulty spark plug cable or distributors?
IMO. whistling.gif
