I don't know if it's fortunate or unfortunate but I'm really not in the market for a brand new Mac *siGh* and since this new shift in role at work I no longer am able to put in an acquisition request for a brand new Mac *siGh*

It's gonna be Windows from now at work *siGh*

What Eithanius means is that this particular model came out after the 2.53GHz 15" MBP but it's now been replaced by the current 2.8GHz mid 2009 model.

Hence, in chronological order it should be:-
2.53GHz 15" MBP --> MC026 (d one on promotion!) --> 2.8GHz mid 2009 model

Most retail stores would accept Visa/Mastercard. The ones we're ocassionally worrying about is Amex *siGh* Unfortunately the Apple Online Store doesn't accept Amex

I checked out Machines site but apparently they only take in trade-ins for the Intel processors. I've an old PowerMac; when I asked them about it abt 10 months ago they told me it's RM200. When I finally am gonna get something, I went back to check, I realise its probably not possible to trade that machine in. Instead, I've decided to give it away

I'm not sure but I think it's a G3 or even older than that. I didn't know U wanted it - I offered it to wei instead except the thing is still sitting in my store room Haven't quite contacted him for collection arrangements U can go fight it out with him.

Eh btw ah, can I use the 85w Power Supply Unit with the MBP? The one that came with the 13" is 60w.

As long as U have a Msian based credit card U could always place the order Online before U get back to M'sia - give it 2 weeks and it should be more than suffice.
