act i think it depends on where u go.i have no problem with machines.usually i always go to the garden branch, looking for some accessories n the ipod dock etc.
the staff is good in comm,i must say, n they are always available to help u.n also smile.

for the midvalley branch, usually they..i dont know, letting me juz wandering inside the shop, give me freedom to look for smthin or juz ignore me.but ill always alone in midvalley,i mean they didnt ask u "may i help u sir" or kind of thing.sometimes it also give me..u know, when no money but want to window shp,it gives me kinda freedom. blush.gif

staff in machines at mid vel n garden always tuka2 tempat.so u might see staff at garden, then she or he will be at mid vel later.thanks to joy, chinese girl who act help me during buying ipod touch last saturday.its a busy weekend, but she still has effort to demo the touch to me.

mac city always rock.i go there twice, during weekend and after the launching of new macbook.i remember jazz (although hes not remember me.. nod.gif ),for the first visit,he demo to me the jbl dock for ipod.lama jugak i thing, about 20 minutes, and give me some opinion also.second visit,he demo to me the new macbook, also the entry level one,waa..also give me comparison(although i knew it already),the weakness of new macbook brows.gif(although i knew it already too).he kinda give the customer the pro n cons of this product, that product, which is brilliant.thats what we want as customer.this fella is good. thumbup.gif

I guess it depends on how useful the promotional items are to you. They change from time to time & with the economy turning sour, you never know, they might just give out more stuff.

Was just at Machines, Gardens (MidValley) trying to decide between the 20" and 24" iMacs. Two sales assistants came to offer their help but still gave me space to play around on my own.  thumbup.gif  I don't like being "hounded" when I'm in a shop.

Was overhearing one of them explaining Macs to a newbie. She spent quite some time with him patiently explaining thru iMacs, Mac Pros, Macbooks, iPods and even AppleTV. From what i could hear, she's pretty much knowledgeable about all. Only comment was when she said you could rent shows using the AppleTV. Not exactly right since iTunes Malaysia doesn't allow you to do that yet. Didn't catch her name but her tag had a "Junior Sales" on it. (BTW, when she smiles, some might even say she's hot  wink.gif

Ok, so, anybody want to try to convince me the extra RM1100 is worth it to get the 24" over the 20"?  Yes, I know about the rumours of upcoming MacWorld but I'd rather get it this month. Tax rebate being one of my few reasons for the rush.  rclxub.gif
