buy at apple online store if you're a student..got discount there..

or else, buy at machines..
got memberships and points..
you can cash in the points for any products at machines..

last time i remember cgcomputers offers rm500 voucher to shop for anything inside the shop if you buy macbook.
now no more i think..

my recommendation is, go and shope around all these shops, and buy from the most friendly one.

ACPP got discount cause its an auto enroll program, cut cost etc etc its a package. of course you cant expect people to give you discount for everything,at the end of the day its their profit thats diminishing right?

It's hard to be sure but from your post are you suggesting that somehow, our Malaysian government is subsidizing  purchases made at the Apple Education store?

If so, dude, how old are you?

If not, could you please learn to post so people could actually understand you?

i strongly think that government pay for the discount..
u see, the agreement is..one year you can only buy ONE mac, but unlimited ipod.
ipod no discount, mainly because it is not an eductional tools.
computers are educational tools.

government always give discounts for something related to education.
im from public UNI, and there's original windows vista ultimate selling at half the original price.
and microsoft office too.
but there is a red sticker on the box..got book picture on it. it writes there,
"ACADEMIC PRICE, not for use in commercial environment"

when you buy books also your parents can get income tax waive. if you are working, that you'll get the discount lah.

thats why i think its the government who pay for the discount. but i dont say it's a "yes" . dont get me wrong.
