all Windows operating system sure got virus one....including WM tongue.gif LOL

but for pda, virus attack is very slim [ i'd been using WM for ages without using any antivirus and still not infected biggrin.gif ]

check THIS out for the pda antivirus software..... icon_rolleyes.gif

Eset nod32 has antivirus solution for Windows Mobile too. The chances of anyone infected with virus on their PDA is thinner than paper.

Hmm, You even get a thinner chance to get a windows update for WM. tongue.gif

SO Guess it is pretty safe from virus and hacks and torjans and whatever sick people make to destroy the universe. hmm.gif

im not sure is it virus or not.. my dopod 818 keep on sending a message without me realizing it.. i only noticed when the recipient inform me about the repeating message, more than ten times sent!

i check my sms tree, and i found the culprit message in the outbox, and try to delete it.. but still cannot.. that one message was very persist, just like a virus lol

afraid to lose more on my credit, i determined to hard reset my pda, but for the last resort, i try to clear all my text messages.. and it works!

anyone experience the same problem? is this a virus or wat?

i also at first time using PDA's wanna install Anti Virus... but through my survey and askiing lots of PDA guru...

then i realise...that install it can make PDA system going slower...

but if some one can update wat is the current WM virus...
then i think its good for all WM user to know...jus for precaution.

where is baronic? hmm.gif hmm.gif

no worries for those viruses..
unless you're a really2 important guy..
and lots of people want to hack your personal info through email..
actually, even PC is hard to get virus if you use it properly.
virus came in from either internet or external devices..
usually from live messengers, emails and lots of them are from downloadsm, and some unsecured websites.
external device, too..like thumbdrive.

for emails, i think the email provider already put the spam into a special folder.
messengers, well, you know that its a virus from the way the text sounds..
downloads, i dont think you gonna install any limewire in your PDA..so no worries.
Bluetooth, well, you can choose not to receive any files from unknown users..

just dont worry. you worry too much and you'll become old faster laugh.gif

PDA is poular, but people still dont fully use it. so, why waste your money for something you dont really use?
sometimes u can see very2 rich people use cheap normal phone, because they dont see the importance of spending thousands on a blackberry or PDA.
why email when you can do voicecalls?

some just love the functions and some really use it, some just love the look and some just like to show off..

it's up to user's preferences..

but lately... PDA is getting more n more popular.

n more n more dedicated PDA retailer shops....

though.... most newbie PDA users... jus cant really get use to the usage of PDA. then they convert back to normal phones....

and they jus stick with symbian OS.
