did anyone see any confirmation anywhere that the japan model of Wii Speak accessory can be used on US Wii ?

is there really such thing as wii speak o.O

It's a microphone attachment for Wii which enables voice chat. Bundled together with Animal Crossing: City Folk.

However, there's should be a numbered voucher along with the Wii Speak that will allows you to download the Wii Speak channel. It's rumoured to be a deterrent against second hand games market. Without it you can only use it for AC:CF, and it's quite unlikely the Japanese voucher will work on a US Wii.

thanks for reminding me about the Wii Speak Channel. never really thought about that and just focused on the accessory !

guess i'd have to get the US model from DJinn then (just bought the game from him few days back) *haha*

i never play Animal Crossing before .. wonder i should pick this up for Wii .
