why my codec cannot play mp4?? actually what i need to configure after i install that codec??

tried other mp4 videos? maybe that 1 has a problem only
or reinstall K-Lite, get the latest 1 |

everyday i watch .mp4 movie with classic MP @ WMP with LATEST version of K-Lite Media Code Pack FULL
and also test .mp4 movie can play i my friend's pc using LATEST version of K-Lite Code Pack Standard. try play your .mp4 movie at other pc, can or not? or something wrong with that file to .mp4, like bad encoding result, corrupted during download..bla..bla |

configure your ffdshow video to use libavcodec when playing mp4 files.

All these so called codec packs really all rely on the same thing, namely ffdshow, for codec support. K-Lite is not a lot different from my favorite codec pack CCCP. The exception is it gives you a different version of Media Player Classic that is more vulnerable to quirks and hang-ups such as the one you're experiencing right now. The MP4 you listed is actually a garden variety MPEG4 video combined with AAC audio, which is playable even on Apple's QuickTime Player. There is no reason for any codec pack to give you that error message you're getting.
Try rebooting the machine and see if that doesn't fix the problem. Or take my advice: uninstall K-Lite and use something more sensible like CCCP. |

previously got a new update, i updated it by uninstall the old 1..even the old 1 also cannot play MPEG4...any setting can i do? i'm noob in this codec pack's tools..how to use ffdshow? i saw it but dont know what is that..

could be the files's corrupted.ive had the same problem with a few files before.try downloading the files again.

try using mpc star... of most probably ur file corrupted...
