Would rate both the bikes 50/50 & with only the brands goin to preference of purchase for individuals. Only the price difference will give the advantage to the Yamaha here.

i already google between both models and alot of ppl create a thread like me (but i make a poll so that ppl can help me choose)..they compare exactly the same model like me..

and after all,i wud like to conclude (walaooo so fast! ) wave is the winner but i just wana do some more survey on that..especially on LYN~

u have to admit that honda motor got less prob than other brands.. some goes to their superbike. honda quality still better (among japanese brand only. ducati, aprillia, bmw and so on different league already )

Honda wave although it's 125 but no top speed. also engine is not as good as thai 125 wave.

if can go for yamaha, choose lagenda ZR. more stability
if u opt for Honda, choose 125X. not wave 125

hm yup..malaysia already limit the CDI box (correct me if im wrong) so that it cant go faster than the thai 125wave one~

for me personally i vouch for Lagenda as it have serve me well for more than a year now and it hasnt give me any problem.

but the thing is u asking about 2 different bike both in the price and engine capacity so some people prefer one thing over the other so its not gonna be easy.

plus my Lagenda is quite thrifty on fuel but that depends on the multiple factor so if u are driving like a maniac with a underinflated tyres it wont do any good.

voted for Wave 125X for

- comes with TT900
- higher CC
- more reliable
- low fuel consumption

personally i've already compared my friend's 125S with my Wave 100..the fuel consumption is almost same lol, but 125 have an advantage in speed

Im not really pro about this but many of my friend said not enjoying riding Lagenda.If got money,just go for 135LC.

135LC is thief magnet..

rm18 can go up to 420 km,

my personal experience: Wave 100, RM6 --> 211km during RM1.92..

right now, my full tank can cover 3 times of pergi-balik from Shah Alam to KLCC, speeding

im a fanboy of yamaha..using lc now.modded.love its performance
but for this poll...voting for honda..maybe coz i think honda give a better value for money

if u want to use bike for many years ... better get honda. durability & less problem is the best

not my taste..dunwan wasting money cz its using 2T oil..

i think wave is more durable for higher cruising speed.

Dont buy Yamaha. Last time I use Ego for about a year and already change the belt for 3 times. My pocket nipis already. Then trade the Ego with EX5. Lesap last week after 1 1/2 month usage. I thought ppl dont want EX5 anymore.

Now raising fund to buy Honda Wave 125x. Go Honda!!!!

my friend's fren used for 1week and then gone..waddeefff......

ride both bike and i would have to say honda ftw...
i have 2 housemates ..each one has the bike u listed..
the one using honda driving like mad..not rempit but maybe a wannabe
but no prob one..
while the one driving yamaha...keep on having prob..
about the FC both also ok lar..
but somehow the honda win ..

im using honda.
it is very good.
jimat minyak+easy to maintain+no problems at all

but i voted for yamaha lagenda z,bcoz.....i think it is faster than wave 125x.eventhough lower cc.

I had a few challenges on road by 125X riders but the bike really lack of top speed and acceleration. I can easily smoke them compared to Lagenda. Besides this, a mild mod Lagenda (spend abt 500 bucks) can reach 140kph top speed and almost had the same accel as my stock bike. I have personally tried the power of modded Lagenda. btw, i m riding 135LC.
