I think can but its not bundled in the set..

If i knew Bernard has the arcade set i would have gotten from him. Had to get a premium instead to replace my banned console.

i think you can use it with your existing HDD from other models

all 360 can use HDD.
only difference is the arcade package only comes with memory card instead of a HDD.

yes correct... i'm using my old hdd on my arcade... works perfectly.. all savegame etc still can be used...

According to Bernard (went there last saturday), there is no arcade bundle that is unmodded. Reason is the price is cheap.
price wise i think is around RM1000 if i not mistaken.

360 arcade's official suggested retail price is 199.99 in the US.

I mean they mod their arcade console becos they dont have the hdd connector like our premium set. They cut the sata cable then solder to the mobo of xbox 360.

3 days ago, I call bernard regarding arcade set also...wanted to buy since my current 360 dead-revive so many time...want to continue play gears 2 right now...but bernard call me again 1 day later tell me that arcade no stock currently, so he suggest I take premium instead...but I still waiting for arcade for now...don't bother take premium coz I already have HDD and wireless controller...

All XBOX360 Arcade consoles already come with the necessary connector to connect the hdd. Why would they need to cut the SATA cable and solder it to the board?

Isn't the Arcade practically the Core?
My Core machine came without a HDD and I bought a 20GB HDD and just slapped it on there.

It would be unreasonable for a machine not to have a slot for the HDD.Regardless of how cheap M$ is,they just won't do that.

Arcade package IS Arcade package.

however all xbox are created the same. all of them have the same sata connector for the hdd and all (since early this year) have HDMI output.

all MS did was change the items included inside the package.

Arcade = No HDD, only memory card.
Xbox 360 (yes, it's not called premium or core nowadays) = 60gb HDD
Elite = 120gb HDD, black matte finishing.

that's the only difference between packages. so don't get easily cheated by ppl when they say "oh this is premium, comes with 2 controller" or something like that.

the console comes with only ONE wireless controller out of the box. no such thing as it came with wired controller and add another 50 bucks to get wireless.

that's all bullcrap sellers are trying to do to con your money out of your pocket.

U can shave the controller off if u desire.

sometimes special edition gives you extra controllers and stuff...and comes bundled with 1 or 2 games...ie halo3 bundle, viva pinata + forza bundle..

most sellers won't let you do that.
unless it's the reputable seller we have here la..

moral of the story : always go for reputable seller.

not sure about the halo 3 edition, but mine is the viva pinata + forza 2 bundle
only 1 controller. the other i got from PA
