yeah, i know we arent supposed to tell them that the phone dropped.
bt, the crack on the bottom lower corner of the lcd is very visible.
if im the technician, i will surely know that its because the phone dropped.
u think that its okay to say that the lcd cracked and i dunno why or how it happen?
*
Dude, I am telling you common sense la..
As a seller, i can see if the phone is damaged due to natural causes or etc..
My experience with Midland however, differs..
I sent b4 a cracked LCD n Midland helped me 2 replace it with no problem whatsoever~
So, if Ori, as i recommend 2 ppl 2 buy, Warranty easy settle..
If AP, no need dream 2 get replacement lol~
As i said earlier, you go find Midland/Authorized SE reseller and tell them the screen crack..
Reason say dunno also..
Act like IT/Phone noob~

Well, everyone is entitled to their own opinion dude..
You might say AP good, but later when you encounter problem even within warranty, you will still curse AP phones..
I rather not waste time explain so much to you, but the point remains..
If you can AFFORD ORi, the go for it..
If YOU CANT, then go AP~
The same thing goes to phone..
You can afford expensive ones, you go buy..
Cant afford, then sad to say, too bad lah~
And finally, go google up some COMMON AP set problem before ranting here much~

Original phones are indeed slightly better than AP sets..
1/10 ori buyer will come back for warranty within a year rather than 5/10 for AP sets~
I rather be happy taking the extra 400 and be safe..
But that's just me~
XD

Oh, are you sure AP are frm the same factory? Who knows they are from some cheap factory in outskirt of china? laugh.gif

Technically I think it was only 10 months since I purchased the phone. Yea I guess its true that you'll save quite a bit to skip the original Nokia warranty. But I just wasn't happy to have both my housing and LCD trashed just to fix the camera slider  mad.gif They even told me that if I didn't want to pay for this round of repairs then they would have void the rest of my 13 months+ warranty!!!!!
Better communication would've helped too. They could have done a better job but they did not.

I bought a Samsung Omnia (2nd hand  sweat.gif  ) after my Nokia N82. Sent it in for servicing under original FMG warranty and I was amazed by their service. Comfortable reception area with free beverages too  rolleyes.gif  And the attendants were so much more cheerful and they replaced my LCD + Digitizer (touch panel) FOC and under an hour! Even sent me a notification SMS that my phone is ready for pickup  thumbup.gif

Indeed Original service center is much better..
More efficient, more helpful..
Send few of my sony and nokia there for service, no problem encountered so far..
Very polite, professional and quick to the point..
Therefore, I see no reason not to buy Original for me..
Ap, as a seller myself, I noticed carries a small hazard risk~"
Trouble can pop out anywhere~"

Wanna ask what the different between "shop warranty" and "Ap set"?
*
Shop warranty and Ap not the same meh?
Well, shop warranty means the shop which you purchase from, provides you with warranty..
AP on the other hand, means the AP distributer provides you with the warranty lol~"
Or, that is roughly my understanding la~"

I not asking which one is better.

My question is about

By shop warranty, does it mean AP set?
*
Very possible either AP or recon Hp~
Shop warranty means, the shop offers you warranty, not the Ap company or Ori company~"
So its down to their rep as a seller..

sorry for this stupid question, im a newbie when it comes to buying handphones. icon_question.gif

i asked all my friends, they said its the warranty that makes AP n Ori different from each other. is it true?

if its true, why does HTC HD2 AP is Cheaper than HTC HD AP ?? really confused bout the pricing. or does AP means not ori parts??

need pro consultation
*
HD2 ap more cheap than HD ap??

Such thing got meh??

HTC HD EOL product, therefore maybe more rare than HD2 which is still in production.
