Yea but some of them the price difference is bout few hundred, that's not little. But if the AP company has an  excellent service record, then I don't see why not. Got so many AP companies out there, dun tell me dun even have 1 good 1? hmm.gif

AP=Any Problems??? Not my Problem!!!!

AP warranty is as good as no warranty. Buy ori way better. Samsung services is particularly good. I am quiet please with them.

Is it that high chance that a brand new phone will spoil within a year to claim the warranty?

After the 1 year warranty expires, Ori set become the same as AP set anyway.

not high chances to spoil, but original set is safer smile.gif

there are 1 year, 2yrs, 18 months warranty and so on for original phone,

you also can add the warranty period for some brand.

ORI set won't become same as AP set in term of price, second hand value, accesories, etc..

I'm confused...

1. Are the AP phones manufactured by their respective brand's factories as well?

2. If yes, why aren't the IMEI on phone and on box the same?

3. Can an AP SE gingerbread phone upgraded to Ice Cream Sandwich as like how the original set do?

4. If a phone comes with some software, does an AP set comes with it as well? Any future update?

I'm buying phone in 2 days. need urgent help. Thanks in advance!

1. YES

2. It is because maybe the seller or dealer that change it... , some of them just purchase the phone because they have the box. Purchasing the phone only is cheaper then purchasing with the set[with box].. , but actually not all AP set has different box... nowadays AP set also have same original box wink.gif

3. If the phone is confirmed to get the update, you can update it... it is not a issue

4. The software is depend on the region where the set comes from, For example , Blackberry 9700 T-mobile has free gps navigation[with voice guided] App , but the original set of 9700 dont have it.. but basically all phone regardless it is AP or ORI can get future update if the update is applicable to all version and region..

if you can trust the seller , that's okay..

for me it is still an AP set , you need to claim the warranty from Singapore though..

Optimus 2X for RM 900 , its okay.. since the new set ORI here around RM 1.25k only..

second hand for RM 900 , quite okay.. not so cheap..

singapore set is a singapore set.. no different...just make sure it is UNLOCKED set.. biggrin.gif
