How to check whether the phone is new or recon set?

If i buy from AP set

well you can check the phone condition , the housing , the back cover , the packages...

if nokia.. you can check the lifetimer
*#92702689# .. if it is new phone.. u will see 00:00:00 means.. never make calling..

but somehow.. they can reset it..

so.. it hard actually..

better go for Ori phones..

HI THERE, YESTERDAY I JUST BOUGHT HTS HD2 FROM A OUTLET AT SUNWAY PYRAMID. OK MY QUESTION IS YESTERDAY I FOUND OUT MOST OF THE OUTLETS DOESNT HAVE THE NEW BRAND ORI SET SIS MALAYSIA, BUT ONLY THIS OUTLET HAVING IT, WHEN I ASK THE PROMOTER, HE INFORMED THEY WILL BUY THE PHONES IN BULK, AND ALSO THE PHONE THAT I BOUGHT WAS THE LAST PIECE, IS THERE ANYTHING I SHOULD BE DOUBTFULL OFF? WELL OTHER THAN THAT DOUBT I HAVE CHECKED HE TAKEN OUT A NEW SET FROM THE BOX WHICH WRAPPED AND ALSO THE IMEI ON THE BOX,WARRANTY CARD AND INSIDE THE PHONE ARE SAME, AND GOT A 2 YEAR WARRANTY FROM SIS...ACCORDING TO HIM NEITHER THIS PHONE IS A DISPLAY SET....PLEASE GIVE ME SOME ADVISE...HOPE TO HEAR FROM THE EXPERTS SOON...THANK YOU..

loL..this time i confirm buy N97 but...is there any difference between N97 and N97mini except for the screen size and 32gb/8gb ? coz i duno how to choose...please give me advice in deeply details..thanks

nothing to doubt, possible that is last old stock... still carry 2 yr wrnty after u replay the wrnty card.. wrnty start from the date u bought it.

Arista for co-oporate sales only,retail usually is Avaxx or Zitron.
If u make purchasing with Arista,u ned to take in bulk quatity,price must be cheap lo.

I would like to comment a bit regarding the issue bringing receipt when send item for service.Actually Nokia Care try to help customer to claim their faulty phone free.1st when u send the phone to Nokia Care.they will check the round green Avaxx or white round Zitron sticker date.If realize that the date was over than 1 year,then they will refer back your purchasing receipt date with sticker B or C from the box.

I ever heard that n97 mini is more stable than n97 and it's battery is also not draining that fast compared to n97.

for stability issues.. its all depends and based on firmwares..

as i were told by many seller that AP set is "still" original right??
except there were distribute by unauthorized dealer...
and they usually imports it "parts by parts" to void custom tax...
means if you're really fussy buyer and giving a lot of attention to those product you purchased...
by all means please avoid purchasing AP set...for your peace of mind sake!!!

some AP set still original set from their country..some are not[or maybe yes]

as we can see.. the differences is warranty...
the original phone warranty is by the phone's company itself[Nokia/SE/Samsung/LG/etc..etc]

but the AP phone warranty is by the AP company .. which is you cant get the speciality that original phone has...

the original phone win in term of the service/warranty/updating/upgrading ..
