Maybe this is a noob question.

Usually when a new housing project is built, the developer will allocate some percentage for Bumi to buy. My question is whether the Bumi discount is specifically allocated for that Bumi quota only or is it for any property that is not included in the quota.

Thanks a lot... shocking.gif

as far as i know normally they will allocate those lots that are not so sellable as bumi lot.
also bear in mind if you want to sell it later, you can only sell to bumi.

Depends on different states. Some states like Johor, bumi lots(40% of total) are selected and marked before sales to public. 15% dicounts on these lots.

Some states, no specific units allocated at point of sale...so bumi purchaser can choose any lot and gets discount ( usually 2-5%) on purchase.

Some states, no "Bumi Lot' encumbrance stamped on titles...ie no restriction of resale ie to obtain state consent.

the developer wont want to sell more than what they have to, since they are making less profit biggrin.gif
