Getting Started

Maybe this is a noob question. Usually when a new housing project is built, the developer will allocate some percentage for Bumi to buy. My question is whether the Bumi discount is specifically allocated for that Bumi quota only or is it for any property that is not included in the quota. Thanks a lot...

QUOTE(Pai @ Nov 26 2008, 06:32 PM) Bumi discount is given to bumi lots purchases only. as what i know, if the bumi quota unit has all sold out, cannot get the bumi discount anymore. a salesperson of magna square told me before. is it correct?

Depends on different states. Some states like Johor, bumi lots(40% of total) are selected and marked before sales to public. 15% dicounts on these lots.
Some states, no specific units allocated at point of sale...so bumi purchaser can choose any lot and gets discount ( usually 2-5%) on purchase.
Some states, no "Bumi Lot' encumbrance stamped on titles...ie no restriction of resale ie to obtain state consent.
