finally, stray dog Woody has succumb to raw food diet that i have diligently prepared for him

firstly, i would like to give thanks to Rayne for helping me with the start up, couldn't have made it easier
so to all starters out there, if you ever need any help, i am glad to do so

however, an obstacle arise again...
CNY is coming and i'll be away for a week, so are my neighbours (vegetarians, so they can't handle meat...)
any suggestions on how i can feed Woody while i'm away?
neighbour suggested last resort: FEED DRY COMMERCIAL DOG FOOD!
so i'm all out to listen to any suggestions!
please advice

oh ya btw, chicken going at rm3.78/kg at mydin~
went and got 3.8kg at rm13, made 13meals for Woody

yeah, i'm currently also feeding only fresh chicken bought from mydin but will be moving soon, making buying chicken a little bit more difficult
but bought myself a chest freezer just for little doggie so that can stock up alot
need stock up so that no need make frequent round to hypermarket.

About the sharing of meat, how does it work?

i knw chicken is not as good when compared to red meat,
but it is the meat that i can afford as i am still student,
just adopted this stray when bandaran ppl came over to catch dogs in the neighbourhood i'm currently residing in
ever since then, he has been neutered, trained and exercised everyday
what meat would you recommend which is easily available?
i also homemake dog shampoo consisting of amway gentle on skin soap, apple cider vinegar.
when i feed him raw meat i will also add in a tablespoon of acv, his coat now so soft to touch! prevents ticks too!

great to have many people start thinking bout their furkid's nutrition rather than just plonkin in some smelly commercial dog food for them unless you can afford those super super premium ones....

actually this thread has been actively discussed in the beginning so those who just started just need to read up those pages from start till end

organs have different texture, mine last time also took time to eat, but then i cut them into smaller pieces, woody loves them so much now

i've joined!!! awaiting approval too!
woody loves green tripe too, when i first intro it to him, he sniffsniff then walked away but then he turned around and ate it...
i feed him 200g of raw everyday so tripe consists 5% wch is 10g, 20g of organs, then the rest is meat and bones, more meat tho so that he not too constipated but the tripe really does help alot.

i do not have a before picture of woody but this is the after picture of his elbow whr usually the black dead skin patch gets bigger thanks to commercial food...
after 3months of just raw food and water, his fur has started to grow back on the dead skin!
