I used American Express flawlessly. The authorization gateway works different from VS/MC. The overall exchange rate conversion is currently at 3.7x which I think is more viable than PSN cards.
A wireless stick may contribute to input lag, e.g. button presses registering late. For even a few milliseconds this may result in a delayed reversal dragon punch, ergo - causing the loss of the match or even the whole tournament. Due to this and low demand, arcade stick manufacturers continue producing wired versions. Nevertheless, Mad Catz has an array of SFIV game pads targetted for release (Feb 20) the around the same time SFIV is launched in North America (Feb 17). Link [here].

And it has a Sanwa stick, by the way. Buttons are HORI's but they are good as well. How much did you get it, and where?

The RAP3 and VSHG is hard to find in local stores, but so far I've encountered the HORI Soul Calibur IV Arcade Stick, which is a rebranded Fighting Stick. The RAP3 is a higher end one, though:

A friend of mine has the SEGA Virtua Fighter High Grade (VFHG), which has been discontinued:

Basically the higher end sticks are worth every penny saved. I still have a regular HORI Fighting Stick since the PSone days, and with intensive usage the stick and buttons are still intact. I'm now using a HORI Tekken 4 PS2 stick via a USB converter (without input lag so far), and I'm eyeing on something else. Come Feb'09 it's gonna be a real exciting time for SF fans. It's gonna be big, and the arcade sticks scene should be saturated with plenty of choices - pre-build or custom-made sticks, and even pads.

This game is better played in NORMAL SCREEN mode, WS makes the timing and move all go out
