hi there all pros,i just got my psp-2000 this morning.my psp firmwares is 4.01 m33-2.
sorry im new about psp i read the threads about firmware and homebrew but i still dont understand that much.im dumb btw so is there any1 can explain this 2 things in a ez way for a dumb me?
and my quest is:
1,Should i upgrade my firmwares?
2,firmwares is to make psp game play more smoothly?
3,i saw some firmwares upgrade fees is RM15 some is RM35 some even RM45 is there any different on upgrading?

i have some question again, i read some threads about how to make the video works in psp,but mostly is telling use what converter only or the mod has lock the thread alr.so i need to ask sifus again.
1.i know psp can use mp4 file only,but i convert alr and put it in my video file but the psp says unsupport file.why?
2.some say put it in MP_ROOT\100MNV01 and then go XBM to find for the file,what is XBM?how to find the file or open it?
3.rmvb can convert to mp4 file?because i use pspvideo9 as some ppl suggest that is a good converter,but after i convert the file to mp4,i try it on real player it just cant be play.why?

is there any converter that can convert RMVB file?that is FOC? i noe Allok Video to MP4 Converter can but it nid to register.any idea sifu?

sifu my firmware is 4.01 m33-2 and i cant play the newest version of DJ max, is it about my firmware problem that i need to update it?is there any sifu can give me a link that teach me how to update my self?nonid pandora battery right for upgrading?

sifu i upgrade the firmware to 5.00 M33 alr but my games cannot play alr...why like that?anything that i nid to do after upgrade?

sifu wanna ask u something,some ppl say firmware 5.00m33-6 not stable got problem,and some say 5.00m33-4 is stable good to use?is it true?what firmware should i upgrade to?-4 or -6? thanks again

sifu it says at my brother psp phat that i nid a 3.5 to run 4.01 installer so i cant upgrade to 4.01m33 with a 3.40oe-a,so i went to dark alex find 3.5 cfw but seems got error cant download alr.....sifu do have link to download 3.5 cfw btw i also try download at psphack but there is too many of 3.5 i dunno which link,and also i still dont understand how to install can u brief me little sorry bcoz alot steps nid follow and is not like the 3.52 cfw to 4.01 that u post at psphack.
