lol, i mean when it comes to play movies, mp 3, etc..are the sound, picture quality bad or good? coz i read some articles which states that using psp to play movies and mp3 is a bad choice..coz the sound, picture quality is not good..so i just want to know how true is this statement..cheers..

Hi guys..new in here, planning to get PSP after realising that i have got no time for my PS3, here's my question;

1)Is it worth it to get a PSP 2000 for RM 1200(New) or RM 1100 (Recond)?
2)Is PSP 1000 still available? Saw in some shop at Kepong selling RM950, you think is brand new or recond?
3)PSP 2006 selling at RM850 but shop owner say cannot play d/loaded games, can it be crack? wht's the cost?

judging by the ps3,i think Sony are not scared of piracy anymore.
the next PSP would probably be unhackable for a long time(again,based on the ps3's situation atm )

anyone here tried using the PSP Slim's TV OUT?

i'm going to need the tv out to display the psp's screen by use of a projector,but unfortunately it is COMPOSITE ONLY (ie.white,red,yellow)
if i get the component video,is it useable on the COMPOSITE ports?

or will the colours go all whacky?

im not really keen on splashing out to grab a composite cable as my tv accepts component,and  i reckon composites would look real on a HDTV

i dont think i there is such a thing as component+composite in one wire,so does anyone know if component wires can be used in composite jacks?

My psp is currently with FirmWare 4.21 which cannot be hacked now...
I am thinking to upgrade it to latest Firmware
is that a wise move? will i able to revert back later when there is hack available for PSP 3000?

i am noob. I have PSP 2006 model.
I bought it from the shop along with the MS PRO Duo 8GB, with some games loaded inside. My questions :

1. How to identify the firmware version?

2. Once I have identify the firmware version, how do I upgrade it?

3. When I play converted PS1 games on my PSP it won't work properly, some can starts and some cannot. Those that can start it will stay idle when in the game, and the screen is just blank.  I never get to play any PS1 games at all since I bought it. I have tried other PSP models(fat one) those worked fine. How do I solve this problem?
