If me, I would save another rm100+ and get audio technica AD300 hehe. Seriously speaking I prefer it over grado sr60 (not the newer sr60i).

rm75 is reasonable. The carrefour near my place is selling at rm89. Rm55 must been clearance price.

the drawback for 2700 is basically it's soundstage...it's nt the can that will make you"wow"(closed-back cans)~and the sound is on the cold side...these characters make it the perfect can for my sony walkman though..haha

SHP2700 more emphasis on bass and treble rather than vocal, and some frequency are boosted than the other. The soundstage is quite big but it have a funny sound in it, not as precise or accurate as more established brand like Sennheiser. Its not for people looking for accurate sound, but more 'fun' sound Its great for lesser sources as well (128kbps mp3 for example)

I've tried the SHP 2700 (own them) with SHP 8900 and the 8900 is better 1% if using onboard notebook soundcard with a very cheap casing. 8900 build quality is much2 better. SHP 2700 is better 5% than the SHP 2000 for me. Both the SHP 2000 and 8900 were my friend's.
