-Good foundation if you still don't know which path you wanna head to.

Disadvantages
-You must do well in order to enter local U. Else, 2 years of your effort is wasted. If your result is good, it doesn't mean that you can choose the course that you want, if you are not a bumiputra.
-Time consuming to some course.
-Form 6 is tough
