Engine flushed using shell engine flush + new Engine oil Castrol Magnatec

4 new mountings ... (dun think it's related)

got my car and realised that there's some power loss ... i wonder why ... do i need 2 "run in" the new plates ? sigh ...

hmmm was using a fake exedy cause i bought the car like 6 months ago ... and i didn't know bout it (2nd hand problems)

so i went to look for the original but most of them are selling the fake ones ...

in the end took the valeo brand ...

nope , i dun think it's clutch slip , car still moves but loss of torque by almost 50% (by feel and not dyno)

hmmm no idea but i guess a fresh piece of clutch plate doesn't make me lose so much pull ... damm

i dowan 2 , with sore legs being stuck in jam now come back 2 my topic ... i suspect either the engine flush or the clutch ... damm stress now , dowan my 15.3kg-m of torque to be 10kg-m ... crap ...

all this while using castrol magnatec 10w-40 every 4000(sometimes less than 4k) consistently

power loss = speed loss

hard for the speed 2 climb , i need a dry night 2 do my timings for 0-100km/h and 7.5k @ 3rd gear ,

engine oil checked (no leakage , no white smoke , maintain at the max level) , but oil was very watery as in dripping from the moment i pull out the "dipstick" i realised traced of water (shell engine flush is very diluted) , and at the bottom it seems like water dripping ...

just now went for a drive , i would say maybe loss of about 20%-30% of power 2 push the car

gear oil was new when i changed my clutch plate using motul 90 PA , previously was redline ... (gear oil shld not be a problem)

my 1st solution : jack the car as high as possible --> release the oil --> replace with some cheap oil --> go drive a few rounds --> release again --> put in new magnatec --> add in the engine protector gel or liquid ...

it's my bearing that gave way not the clutch plate that has been slipping ...

no slip shld be better grip hence more acceleration as usage or torque has been utilised ?

if i were 2 changed into different clutch plates then maybe i shld feel the difference ... but i went stock for stock ...

how i wish i was driving a vtec ...

just a 4g93p only ... 7.5k is my limit , rev cut alrdy @ 3rd gear was doing around 140-150km/h and 0-100 around +/- 10secs

now i really dun know , by the feel i think can't reach those peak at the moment

alrdy drained old engine oil , put in flush , run for 5 mins and drained , put in new engine oil

so when i checked the dipstick i sense a lot of diluted chemicals through the whole stick

so my wild guess shld be the engine oil failure ... damm ...

share the same Gti engine ...

yeah i am almost 100% that's it's not a clutch failure ...

that's why i was thinking of draining it out alrdy ...

anyway roxygal what car u are driving ?

as i said , there's retention of the chemical as it's not 100% flushed ...

anyway what chemical u used to flush ?
