Greetings to all,

Firstly i would like thank all who contribute so much on this forum on iphone, also means that i have read thru all of the topics (dummies, tips&tricks, faq even googled it) etc before i ask this question. Please pardon me as i ported to iphone after a 6 years sticking with windows mobile.

I find it hard to settle my problem hence i hope by posting here i would get direct support from all iphone sifus.

As for the spec im using iphone 2G fw 2.1 jailbroken with pwnage, i've installed openssh, bosspref, and winscp + putty.

The problem is when i try to connect after entering the IP address, it doesnt seems to connect.

did u set the port right?
and if u use router, some time router block the port too

U mean the port number?

it is defaulted at 22

What is the error message given?

Try this checklist:

> SSH is turned on in BossPrefs
> Check for right ip address
> Turn off any firewalls / enable ssh app in firewalls
> Make sure you're on the same LAN subnet as your pc
> Check for right username / password

When u said it does not connect ... is there any error msg?

What did u put in:

1.Hostname
2.Port Number
3.User Name
4.Password
5.File Protocol
