my trusty samsung 172x lcd died on me after 4 yrs ...
i think it's due to the power brick kaput alrdy .... no output voltage at all ...
now have to source for a new lcd ...argghh ...

haih, i had just thought of getting a radeon 4850 ..
so, what's the best i can get for RM550 max ? (sucks ...thats my budget for 4830/4850!! )

is samsung 933bw good? im looking for something with dvi conn if possible
any other candidates? should i wait for pc fair next week?

yeah i saw those benq's are cheap, but are they reliable? any issues with dead pixels and stuff?
the new benq series with HD reso is very enticing .... nyum nyum

coz i saw some forumer bought it lowyat for RM550-580 ...that's pretty cheap!

the spec meno gave is pretty good ady .. even without oc, u can play most games at high reso smoothly ... but as always, oc is much more fun! ... squeeze every bit of ur system for more performance ! hehe (proceed with caution ...dun say i teach u aa.. wahaha)

both are 22" full hd 1920x1080 (16:9), with price range of about RM550-600 ...

nah... im not going for more than 22" ... 27" is close to my 32" lcd tv, which i already use for movies
my initial 'plan' was just to replace my recently dead lcd and the replacement was supposed to be a 17" only ...
but with a budget around 550-600 max, i think 19" to 22" is just nice ...

now, who have any internal info about pc fair deals on lcd?

dissapointed (expected) ... couldnt grab a 22" fullhd lcd for myself ..
samsung 2233sw = RM599-630 ...some even sell at 679!
benq t2200hd = RM670-680

i tot could get below rm600 for the 2233sw ... and why is benq so expensive one ..haih

errr ... any of u guys selling off ur 19", 20" or 22" lcd ?
my max budget is rm550 only, so with current lcd price in penang, there's no way i can grab anything bigger than 20" lcd ..
i guess i wud have to stick with 17" or 19" for now

yeah, i was aiming for benq t2200hd an samsung 2233sw ... but i didnt manage to find a good deal during pcfair man ... they were selling samsung 2233sw for 600 (some even sells at 620, 679, 689!) ... and by the time i decided to grab the 600 ones, they say no stock ady
some lucky forumers managed to get it for 575 too

i7 920 c0 = SLBCH
i7 920 d0 = SLBEJ

but i would definitely wait for core i5 to be launched ... lower power consumption, works with ibexpeak-based chipset mobo , dual channel ddr3 and a few more new features ...
so i'm sure the price of the cpu/mobo will be lower than current i7's

yeah, i thought so too ... i alrdy thought that u would consider it as 'not an upgrade' path
but to me, due to the different socket of i7 and i5, someone upgrading to i7 path will have to stick with the 'high-end' proc/mobo instead of the mainstream proc/mobo of i5 later on. (e.g:cheaper)
with i5, more choices will be out for u in the future as it's gonna be the mainstream proc ...
and there'll be even more choices for u when the westmere-based cpu's are out
