thundermatch like the one in LYP? niceee.....

pc fair coming up again soon.. anyone planning to go?

also, @meno, still got any more 27" monitor ah? looking to sell my samsung 226bw and upgrade to 27" since i feel using the 22" doesnt do my 4870X2 justice. like...overpowered for such a small screen.

i wanted to test to see if my fans would spin up nicely when the temperature increases by experimenting with Speedfan software. so i loaded prime95v25 with 2 thread for my core 2 duo e8500 @ 3.8Ghz. suddenly my gf called saying she's not feeling well due to food poisoning so i left my pc immediately and went to see her, took her to hosp, and was practically with her for 4 days (friday evening to monday evening). i came back home on monday night and the prime95 was still running and max temp on both core is 55C and 54C. all fans spinning at 100% except the CM90CFM fan at 74% (cos 100% is too loud). i never tot striker extreme chipset was that stable. :-P

a 1920x1200/1080 24" would be sweet for your gfx card i'm using 27" wif 4890, i is enjoice ^^

that's why i'm looking for dell 2709/2707/2708.

these monitors are larger than the 24" monitors but still use the same 1920x1200 resolution which can be handled easily by the 4870X2 with 2-8XAA + 16X AF + all details max.

its the sweet spot for a large screen since a 30" with 2560x1650 resolution is too high for the 4870x2.
