Hard disk manager, is such software exists?

my newly bought laptop benq s42 currently juz hav 1 Hard Disk. that drive C:/ is used for Vista and for storage. can i divide it to two,1 for the installed Vista and 1 for storage? what software can do so?

you can't partition the partition that ur OS are using..... u can use vista dvd to do partitioning when u start formating....

While Partition Magic is still a good piece of software, I'd also recommend Gparted. It is every much as competent as Partition Magic these days, and is OS independent, as it boots from the Live-CD.
Admittedly, it is not as nice looking as Partition Magic, but if all you need to do is partition a HDD, it does a good job, considering it is free.

Hard disk (overlay) manager is different from partition manager.
The 1st one is used for old mobo that support only 8GB hdd, during 20GB hdd era, to support larger capacity. (Even older is 400MB mobo limit supporting 2GB hdd....)
The 2nd one, is what everyone is suggesting, eg. Partition Magic.
