gM | Mutsumi-san: Sorry man..are those hybrid sticks that you were saying are those which can be fitted on PS3 and xbox and PC at the same time? Meaning 3 in 1 ??

Anyway those aracade controller that i posted above works well with PC, but it will not work on Xbox, not sure on PS3 though. rolleyes.gif

These are some screen shot that i took when we're playing on www.2dfigther.com with this arcade controller. biggrin.gif

swt....really sanwa ?(not flaming here okay)
i seen sanwa stick on play-asia....the whole set
he built it himself ?custom..
but all the buttons really look like arcade 1....so should be okay....maybe even better lol....
but pricey la

you got hori stick or not ?hehe

meh_man: haha no problem, anyway it is a sanwa stick. This friend of mine used to work as a arcade technician those days, and that's why no problem for him building up 1 from scratch, and indeed it's durable. Imagine how those arcade players slams on the sticks and buttons sometimes smile.gif

Hori real arcade pro ? or Hori soul calibur? I wanted to buy a hori initially, but i've got no luck finding one cos not many bring in this kind of sticks in kl anymore. Besides, thinking bout the part replacement in the future, i ended up buying a custom made 1 from my friend smile.gif

this guys is what we call 'the awesome'...

very cool!!

i would buy 1...(just because it looks so damn cool)

but i prefer my games played with a controller( the type that fits in your hands)....

unless your friend also mods xbox360 controllers....

just another question regarding the custom controller,
are there any other choices for the parts in the controller
lets say i prefer seimitsu buttons and joystick

anyway here's a link to a hybrid stick
really handy to bring to all sorts of tournaments out there but its too damn pricey

NarutoKiubi: Haha would like to thank you for your words on behalf my friend. you know sometimes it's hard to play some of the fighting games with a joypad, the movement will be slightly faster with a arcade stick.

gM | Mutsumi-san: Thank you for the link, i've checked with my friend and he said he will need to find out whether he still have seimitsu buttons in his shop. By the way, currently he only has Sanwa Stick and Zippy button. I'll drop you a PM once i hear from him. smile.gif

According to him, the reason he uses zippy button is the repairing cost is much lower compare to sanwa and seimitsu buttons. If the button damages, you can just change the micro suiz for the Zippy button which will cost you about Rm 10. While for Sanwa Button, you will have to buy the whole button including the micro suiz cos they don't sell it seperately.

And i'm sorry to disappoint you guys that the current arcade controller that he's selling does not support Xbox, not sure on PS3 though.

can u even use hori soul calibur on a PC ?converter ?

oh i see...so thats the zippy buttons...
u usually see this kind of buttons in arcades where most of the player bash the buttons rather than pressing it...

i prefer hori...but i noticed its clicking is quite loud....

hope i get extra bonus....wanna buy..... cry.gif cry.gif cry.gif cry.gif

By the way..how many of you guys are actually interested with the arcade stick if it works on 360? Maybe i can try to ask him to work out something. smile.gif

shoden: No problems working with MAME, cos i been using it on MAME or Neo Geo emulator so far. I'm playing with it on 2dfighter.com.

mikee: Yup, I've already mentioned it to him, but he hasn't got a fighting game to test on. Any fighting games on PS3 that u can recommend? Maybe i'll ask him to look for it.

here's the source
http://forums.shoryuken.com/showthread.php?t=141775

back to sales question
any pricing for just the controller box + stickers?

just found an old gemstone in my treasure chest tongue.gif
an arcade stick which is compatible with pc/ps1/ps2/ps3/xbox/gamecube/wii xD (isn't compatible with xbox360 though)
need the box to mod the old stuff

for ps3 fighting game, u could try to test it with soul calibur IV

gM | Mutsumi-san: Oh thanks for the game recommendations. As for the pricing for the box and sticker itself, I think it's better for you to drop a call to Alan directly and discuss with him about the dimention of the box and pricing smile.gif

By the way...as long as you have a USB connector, i guess using JoytoKey will make any arcade sticks work on any pc and any games.

yeah, soul calibur may be a good test fighting game, better if he can buy Street Fighter II HD REMIX from US PSN for a mere rm13 +- if shared with 5 person smile.gif

I'm a particular fan of KOF series and TEKKEN series. I used to own an arcade joystick to play with my PS2. Very dissapointed with the quality and game ability. It was much harder to input commands like dragon punch moves or those Desperation Moves in KOF.

From then on, I stayed away from joysticks made for PS/Xbox/PC. To me, only arcade gives me 100% satisfaction and gameplay.

My question is, does this stick comparable to the arcade stick? I'm not talking about the quality, but the response and the feel of the stick in fighting games.

Reading two pages, none gave any feedbacks or comments about it, and its not like I can test it beforehand right?

Eksk: are you the one who bought the whole table arcade stick from Alan?

FunnyTone: As far as i know, there are plenty types of arcade sticks selling at the market, Range from RM 60 Up to a good one around RM 500. I believe those lower range sticks that u find in the market mostly will Never come with Sanwa or Asahi stick but Made in China or Taiwan stick. THose sticks are not suitable for fighting games due to the internal design of it. Kindly do a search for Sanwa or Asahi stick in google or visit Shoryuken.com, and you will be able to find your answer there. Btw, sanwa stick is most of the gamers' choice =)

Hope this answer your question.
