i buy this stupid c905 s.e 8.1 mp 3days ago at rm 1900..ok i was like ..price expensive abit..i dont mind bcz i cant wait anymore...
i m so rushing bcz need to go work..so i didnt check properly..
come back i check..the hp not earphone?no mmc inside while i saw the manual said earphone n 2gb mmc included?fVuck...i get con already..i call him..he said ok i giv u 1 earphone..but mmc dont have for ap hp??another day i saw 4dead pixel on my screen...what should i do now...i wan to FVCK him already but sunday no open

No matter how rush u should check the stuff / make sure what item u have got inside the package before leaving the shop or counter. Thats ur $.

ok cool down . u bought from a shop ? or from a person ?
and do you have the receipt with you ?
if you do , look for the number of the shop and call them immediately .
and tell them bout ur situation . The receipt part is important .
and , it is ur mistake . u can't deny it . u should have check everything
before paying up the bill . it's like buying a shirt without looking at it properly
and when ur back home , u realised one button is missing =)

Now lets look at your situation from my personal prespective. Again im only trying to help smile.gif

Sadly for this part, this one goes all the way to your end, since you mentioned you didnt check, they by default
have done their part ( in their view ) in ensuring you got all the right stuff. They may be unscrupulous but thats the very reason you would have needed to check on things you purchased before you went home. Otherwise they can just claim that you lost the earphone and MMC. In short its your word against theirs. No Claims Tribunal will allow that to follow through.

Now we go to the dead pixel issue.

Depending on the type and model of phones they may have different requirements on how to proceed on claims for those. Even LCD monitors, Cameras and LCD TV's comes with different quality control and claims. For instance, even if you have 3 dead pixel on a Samsung monitor they will not entertain your claim unless its 5 dead pixels or more. Some are even more particular, where 5 dead pixels MUST be 5 black pixels for instance. So if you were the unlucky one with 8 dead pixel where 4 black pixel and 4 white pixels are dead, even that does not fall under the purview of their warranty.

For handphones its very rare and i think not possible for you to have NO WARRANTY on dead pixels that definitely is not the case, they should have at least a minimum requirement.

If this shop is still rejecting your claims, keep your receipt and phone in good order and look up how to go to Consumer Tribunal Claims for your issue. It may be a long fight, but heck RM1900 was spent down the drain, at least make it worth it in the end smile.gif

As long as they hear the word sue, they might just do a turnaround smile.gif Also note : It could perhaps be just a rogue trader Alan or even his branch who's doing this unscrupulous work, their main HQ may not know of this and contacting the main HQ may be an even better option.

Lastly you may want to consider a Small Claims Dispute.

Yes, as what i always say. Those having shop is easier to con or cheat people.

They are taking the advantage of having shop and they know people will put more trust on them if having shop.

But u should check the package properly before leave.
This only take you few second to do so.

SE C905 not using MMC but Memory Stick M2 so make sure get correct memory card. Or else cannot use.

Also it should be 2GB Memory Stick M2 included in the set with a very nice handphone strap. Saw AP unit in the shop in Digital Mall with all these accessories.

Actually the C905 isn't released yet in Malaysia, so this shop owner probably bought it via Ebay or something that's why he can't claim it. Why don't you try to claim it directly via Sony Ericsson?

Err...if its not OFFICIALLY in Malaysia yet, and he didnt buy an Official Recognised unit by Sony Ericsson Malaysia how can he claim it ? Does this mean i can buy any phone from Ebay or from anyone, realise that it does not come as a full set, then walk right into Sony Ericsson Malaysia service centers and claim whats missing ? wink.gif

If thats a yes, Im sure Im gonna own many new sets of Sony Ericsson phones soon all with missing M2 2GB and also what the heck, missing LCD screen on the phones as well, you know..cuz they'll replace it when i claim from them...even if I didnt get it officially from them.

ap phone just remove the lock and not so stable ......becare .....i think u should know the ap phone phone will warranty LCD 1 month...if crash or drop warranty void!!!!!!!in your case ...u should get warranty....so quick go to Consumer Tribunal Claims

Yea tats y AP phone sometimes can be dangerous.It's the only reason why sometimes ppl rather pay more to buy the original then from other ppl.U hav to check properly and ask properly before going..it's hard to claim back as u dunno where they r going next.Got shop also can con ppl..nowadays...haiz..ppl very tricky.Did he giv u the guarantee for the phone?If u hav,mayb u can claim from Sony Ericson.

problem solve..i exchange the hp already..sad but i have to live with it..they nv giv me 2gb mmc....and suppose to come with it..bout handsfree...they giv me back too..i will nv come back to the shop anymore..KTS klang..blacklisted him

You shall not visit KTS be careless anymore! Not just about the shop problem. You didn't check properly when you get the phone. Consider yourself being lucky cause they at least exchange the hp for you

Here's what you might have gone wrong with.
The second time you went there..you got an exchanged phone. And you didnt check again ?
You can no longer claim that its a used phone. You didnt check properly.
Did you test and ensure it there and there ?
Did you ask further for a continuation of warranty for the phone ? ie the first phone you had one year, now for this phone is it still one year or 11 months ?

You did not check hence its very difficult to lay your claim. If you did you would not have accepted the phone.
If you didnt check and took the replaced phone there is nothing else to do.

If someone knocked into your car from behind, you then see that they have broken the tail light. You claim. They say its not their fault, a car knocked them from behind and they then rammed into you. You insist for claim. They finally relent and replaced a new tail light for you. You accept.

2 days later you discover the tail light instead of red is now pink because they coloured it with water colour instead of buying original red plastic. Your bumper also suddenly fell and cracked probably because of the earlier impact. You go back and claim for them, theyll say youve been involved in another accident and youve exchanged the tail light yourself.

Sadly. No case.

Youre scared that they are going to replace the parts when you send it in ? Well replace. Its okay.
Nevertheless YOU HAVE TO ENSURE that the parts replaced comes with warranty and your phones ORIGINAL warranty is NOT compromised.

And this time CHECK PROPERLY. Bring a friend. Heck bring 2 car loads of friends just TO CHECK it properly.
All your rushing didnt save you money it added to your expense, your misery and time.
CHECK. Better safe than rush.
