HYE!....I Blv tat cs have kinds of name for different maps...like inferno ,nuke and more...example de_dust2 they got Alley,inner,lower tunnel,stairs,catwalk...how about COD4?

does cod4 have names for those maps too? or they just simply name them?..becoz cs got public server and match server....does COD4 have that..anyways wad is cod4 match type?

well im not really sure what ur asking. but cod4 have map names like mp_crash~

cod4 match types. tdm.sabotage.domination,headquarters search and destroy,free for all.

Errr... actually can say almost the same... Just it is more realistic and can scope. Mapping location of course got, just every team has their different mapping location. Search & Destroy type is almost super exactly same like CS game style. But usually for casual playing people play Team Deathmatch.

the closest gametype in COD4 to CS will most likely be your Search and Destroy (SnD) where one team plants, the other team defends and defuses.

Most local servers are TDM, which is just killing for points

just pick a CoD4 dvd and start playing!

Well referring to this post, yes there is call spots for each map. Although the maps are big, we have to do them, for competitive gameplay's sake.

not that....i mean like....in cs u guard bombsite b for an example..if u hear footsteps..they will be saying like inner got 1 ,or alley got 3 or all alley..those kind of stuff..but cod4 also got like those rite?..like stairs,house etc etc. ..sotimes i watch demos..i don know wad the heck are they doing lol..

To the first question bout guarding bomb, yeah, we do that. We report place on where the enemy is. And the cod4 fps settings can vary from 0 to 125 to 333. why? Don't ask me. lol.

actually you no need to follow ppl, how they call the spot. you can name it your self even better, so do that your enemy dun know where is it. but so far every 1 name the spot almost the same.

You can just make up one yourself for example : if we name a place like Market but it doesn't seem like a market to you but more like a 7eleven, you can call it 7-11. You see this place, and the place has a frdge, you can call it Mama's Kitchen Fridge, don't matter. Not necessarily you have to follow other people. Like what Dumb said, naming your own spots are better coz your opponent wouldn't know where your referring to. There's no such thing as the best weapon imo. Its just a matter of fact on how you master a particular weapon that makes it deadly. Even a colt45 can kill a ak47 user anytime. But mostly people based their weapon on what mode they're playing. Get what I mean? if your CQC player,best use SMG coz its faster compared to a rifle weapon. If your the type that doesn't like rushing but keeps still in one position, best use rifle or sniper coz it has better accuracy and does more damage when shooting far range. just my 2 cent.

Well, in CoD4, other than the almighty P90, there's really no such thing as "teh best weapon". All guns have their pros and cons. Although, some weapons have their cons more than their pros which make them slightly aweful than other weapons and vice versa. But overall the weapons are quite well balanced.

P90? i thought WGT ban p90...and btw if im using AK-47... should i put attachment? or normal...i watch demos..they don put anything..i thought u put those attachment can aim better ..

im using AK-47,wif bondolier ,stopping power and deep impact...is that combination good enuf?

Yeap P90 is banned. Like I said its always up to the individuals themselves. If you can aim better with attachment then put on the attachment. If not don't bother putting any. Again, you don't have to follow that demo or whatever video you watch coz the players that you're watching are using whatever they are good and comfortable with. So what I suggest is you do the same, instead of following others and trying very hard to master it, might as well just go with your own configuration which might be equally as good and easier for you to master. But of course if you wanna follow them its up to you. BTW I don't put any attachment.

As for your combination, its exactly the same as mine and yeap, its a good combination.

I don't really like FTZ.... went there once with my frens never wanna go back there again. FTZ = Dota, Blitzone and ProXtreme = COOOODD 444444 !!!!

U can play online without ori CD, but only in Narakka server TDM n SnD [u can find IP in other post thread]. The others server need Ori CD-key mostly. But the most important, its update ur CoD4 1.7 patch and Punkbuster update, u can search in internet. Patch bcoz everyone using latest, punkbuster i dont know why but u must have. haha. i dont know what actually it for, but it requiredment. Juz do lol. xD

haha. ak74u it not good in accuracy lol. u have to figure out your self how to shoot in far range. For me, no problem in ak74u. already use for long time. my fav weapon.

Demo? how that person play. how they shoot the weapon. where he stay, i mean spot la where he stay. and see his route. or try act like him. lol. think logic as simple. common sense. xD

the thing is u just try your own style. for me watching other PRO's demo only makes me motivated, not because i wanna be like him (his playing style), the proness.. errr.. ok la xD. so just find weapon that very suit to u, but don't use grenade launcher or P90, coz some people hate u if u use that weapon.

what we mean when we say, play online, not on gayarena is

when we open COD4MW, go to multiplayer, go to FIND SERVER

then change to Internet, and the list will come, we play on those servers.
But i dun think local servers got come out, so we must add the IP manually to favourites, then can edi..

Many ppl play on Garena coz the COD4 they have is pirated, and they using the same PIRATED KEY. this key is known worldwide to be pirated and thus, punkbuster automatically will kick u when u join.

Just need to be smart and get keygen and change the key, install PB, then can play online on DEDICATED servers with ping as low as 20 *well, for me!

Search & Destroy should be like counter strike's De_Dust...

LOL I think he meant the stun nade. Yes it's abit gay to use the stun nade so try to avoid using it.

Use all you want dude! It's a public server! No one cares man,except a certain few. Just don't use X3 Special Nades. One is enough for one person with that many people in a server.

If you're playing pub servers, just don't give a damn what ppl call you. I lol'ed everytime someone calls me a noob in pub servers. If FF is on, I'll just tk them for fun ..... That is, if I'm playing casually

Usually, 1 stun nade gives you sufficient time to take out a person (if you're lucky, maybe a few ppl in one go ). 3x special nade perk and stun nades are not just banned from tourneys, but they are annoying as hell too. Spamming 3 stun nades onto 1 person is like wasting a good perk, I'll rather take bando and wall spam instead. Just imagine if you're a victim of 3x stun, could you visualize the annoyance of it? TIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII...... TIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII..... TIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII...... damn annoying rite?

In a competitive environment, everyone will be pissed at you if you use ghey stuff, but hey, it's just casual gaming, don't give a rat's arse about what they say and continue your business.

Those are restricted weapons and perks in tournament currently because can say those are "imbalance". In FFF Tactical server, they usually training for tourney and using tourney's rules and regulation, and did not use any of those weapons and perks that I just listed. Let say if there's suddenly someone using P90 + Silencer, with Stun nade x3 + Stopping power + Martyrdom come to the "serious" server and owned people using those "gay" weapons and perks, who do not pissed off. But hey, it's up to u what to use in public server, u want yourself being called noob, it's up to u. U want yourself in tournament standard, is up to u as well.

Reset? Each profile is tied to a CD-key. So let's say FTZ is using a different CD-key which of course they are, and you're playing in Blitz, you have to change the CD-key in-game under Multiplayer options then change the CD-key from there. Then only load or put your profile in the COD4 folder.

EDIT: Punkbuster does not affect your profile. Never.

Huh? You want to play on LAN or online? If online,if it's servers like Narraka, where you don't have to worry about your CD-Key being the same in one server, you don't need to change, unless you're playing in an original only server. If LAN, you don't even need to change anything, you can share the same CD-Key on LAN and still play.
