Caspian is AMD’s solution for mainstream notebooks. It will ship with AMD’s next-generation Tigris platform, which replaces today’s Puma. Tigris will feature a new RS880M North Bridge + SB710 South Bridge.

Wah, not yet fully utilised the Puma range.  Now, Caspian.. Any specs?
*
Caspian is the CPU, Tigris is the platform name. It will come with RS880M North Bridge + SB710 South Bridge. As of now no more further detail.

However i can assure you that RS880M Graphic will surely be more powerful than current AMD offering let alone INTEL built-in graphic.

But they never mentioned with quarter in 2009.  Maybe 01/01/2009 or 31/12/2009.  That's a valid statement.

yeah...

but the first APU is merely the CPU and GPU put together in one chip...

the CPU is based on ther current RV710...
*
No! Its no in one chip. Its in one packaging with the CPU. CPU-GPU in one chip will take a while.
