Specific Map Rules
STOPWATCH MAPS
All stopwatch maps will be scored using the best of three (bo3) format. Each round, both teams will attack and defend. The first team to win two rounds, will win the match. There is no time limit for this map.
• All stopwatch maps will be scored using the best of three rounds (bo3) format. One round consists of each team attacking and defending once. One point is given to the winning team of each round (one round is equal to one point). The first team to win 2 rounds of the three wins the entire match. There is no time limit for stopwatch maps.
• All stopwatch maps will follow an ABBA format: Team A attacks and team B defends. Next round, team B attacks and team A defends. If the third round is played team A will be the attacking team. By default Team A is the HOME team, but teams may agree to let the visiting team be considered Team A.
• Match Reporting - After each team attacks and defends, the team who did so the fastest (or captured more points, if both teams fully defend) receives one point for that half (no extra point is awarded for successfully defending).
This rule applies to the following maps:
• cp_dustbowl
• cp_gravelpit
• cp_goldrush
• cp_junction
PUSH MAPS
Play to 4 points or 30 minutes and switch sides. First team to 5 points wins the match or the highest score after 60 minutes.
• Overtime - Restart config and play one round. The team that wins the round will be considered the winner of the overtime.
This rule applies to the following maps:
• cp_granary
• cp_well
• cp_badlands
• cp_stag
• cp_fallout_l
Guidelines
MATCH RESTART GUIDELINES
Once a half is deemed LIVE, teams are NOT allowed to restart the match, unless a player drops from the server within the first minute of play. If the server is reset after the first minute all rounds played before the crash will count toward the final score.
PLAYER SUBSTITUTIONS
Player substitutions are allowed but the sub player must be a registered player for the team. Substitution can only be done before a match starts and the sub player must stay until the end of the tournament, replacing the subbed player for the whole tournament.
Exploits
GAME MAP EXPLOITS
It is illegal to use a map glitch/exploit for one's advantage when it was not in the original intent of the game or mapmaker. Teams and/or players found in violation of these rules will be penalized.
It is LEGAL to shoot through floors and walls where it is possible.
Killing during the set-up time is ALLOWED on any map where it is possible. This includes rocket jumping on the trains on cp_well or sniping through the cracks.
OTHER GAME EXPLOITS
It is illegal to intentionally utilize any game exploits. Game exploits include, but are not limited to, the exploits defined in this section. For any exploits used that are not explicitly covered, officials have discretion to determine the intention and extent of the violation. Officials have full discretion to modify the exact penalty to suit the offense.
And yeah, no CTF maps.
