Electronic Sports Professional Gamers League - Amatuer Division

Ladies and Gentlemen,

I bid you welcome to the first ever Call of Duty™ 4 : Modern Warfare - Amatuer League, sponsored by New Era and Blitzone Cybercafe.

As tomorrow will be the start of the 10 week long league, I first like to thank all participating teams, particularly those who do not play this ruleset and also teams that have been around for ages, ever since the first tournament. This league caters to teams who have not yet had the chance to win their first tournament and also giving them a chance to improve over time with continous play over the end of the year till mid next year.

This league will be run with the newly released PAM 4.02 with a few tweaks and improvements while using the Malaysian Ruleset.
Included below is the mod with the ruleset, current Rules and Regulations and your weekly schedule for the next 2 weeks.

Starting December, you should see particular changes in how this league will run, especially in terms of the visual appearance (particularly the website), banners should start be popping up in selected CC's to show that you're actually doing something

Remember also that this league is fully sponsor run, the ESPGL Organizing Commitee is doing this for free, so please understand if there are any hick-ups during this league, please refer to a commitee member or marshal with patience and understanding.

This league aims to increase the amount of casual to competitive players, while still promoting the game itself by running side-events every 2 weeks with small cash/equipment prizes.

Teams will have a possibility of winning up to a total of RM10,000 in cash and equipment throughout the 10 weeks sponsored by New Era and Blitzone Cybercafe.

So ladies, get ready for tomorrow.

It begins 10.00am!

Oh, please remember that all teams must be checked in 30 minutes before their game starts.

Update : Rescheduling Rules Up

1. All rescheduling must have a scheduling penalty of at least RM25 COMBINED from both teams. The fine also includes payment for the time spent which ultimately makes the game "free".
2. All rescheduling must be done at least 1 day before the match day. All late requests will be denied.
3. All rescheduled matches must have an official marshal present.
4. All rescheduled matches must be done within the match day from 10am-6pm.
5. Rescheduling has to be done with the consent of both parties.
5a. If the other party does not consent, the first party will have to play the match at the arranged time or forfeit.

Is the mod file still bugged?
I managed to make it work on the XEF-CERT Online Server,
but i tweaked the wait times before match begins and wait times for Strats to 15 and 10 secs...

Okay, on another matter,
What has a team have to do to reschedule a match? Im sure unfortunate circumstances might take place and teams will have to postpone/bring forward a match and how do they go thru doing this? Who do we contact?
Is it possible to bring forward a match which is scheduled for 1PM to like 10AM? or will there be an issue with acquiring PC's?

Kudos to everyone who strive their best to make this league working. Thanks for all the hard work guys.

If you want to reschedule a match:

1. You (Team Leader) must first refer to me (Grr@Josh @ 012-2965653) or Death (Brian @ 012-3919876) first.
2. Contact the other team leader who contact will be provided by either of us.
3. Contact us with the rescheduled match time.

p.s. Please try to keep the rescheduled match within a reasonable time as the marshals/organizers would have already spent half the afternoon there. Nobody wants to come back at night to marshal a match PLUS you probably won't be able to get PCs in Blitz/Pro Ex at night.

p.p.s. Try to contact me before Brian because I will be handling the rescheduling aspect of the league.

errr so if we win the group wuts next?

Basically its a double knock out for the top 2 teams of each grp and a single knock out for the bottom 2 teams. so lets say team 1 and 2 meet in the winners bracket and team 2 loses.. they then drop down to the losers bracket and face a team there.. but if team 1 and team 2 from the losers bracket meet and team 2 loses.. team 2 is OUT of the competition.. at the end.. the finalist of the winner and loser bracket will meet in the grandfinale but the loser bracket finalist must win the Winner bracket finalist TWICE in order to be crowned AMATEUR league champion. hope that wasnt too confusing..

so.. 2 teams on top will enter winner bracket n two teams below losers bracket?

yeap.. so in the end will be 10 teams in winner bracket and 10 in losers bracket.. then slow elimination lor..

Marshalls and event coordinators are tired after a long day, please do understand that.
SeXeR won CERT Oblivion 2-1, CERT won SnD.
N|X 3 won PAR 2-0, PAR took over Wi* Gaming for Wi* Gaming FFK-ed, so I heard.
[ESP].eGo won XEF-FcUK 2-0.
FFF.N0b won Project VTs, I think.
N|X 1 won Project XxX, so I heard.
N|X 2 lost to XEF-LuLz, 2-0.
A5 won XEF-Naabs! 2-1, A5 won SnD 8-4, lost DOM, won TDM by about 20 kills.
SWL.RvG won H2o 2-0.
The rest of the teams didn't play.
Don't know the score for some of the matches for I didn't marshall them.
