If it's good stock, why did MISC said RAMUNIA failed the due diligence? Hmmm...skeletons in the closet.

Your share will go down by the same amount as the dividend payout. Meaning, if ABC is RM10.00 and gives out RM1 dividend, on ex-date the share would be listed at RM9 (10-1). So you mostly buy dividend shares for long term, there's no advantage to be gained by selling on the ex-date.
