QUOTE(chingwooi @ Dec 5 2009, 02:46 PM) I see, I like warm signature IEM, can listen for longer period of time without hurting ur ears but how come suddenly dropping the idea of getting IE8? I still want ie8 really, but the fact that im more into details now makes me want to try something out of the box. And after reading a lot of reviews i decided to try ck100 1st then if im not satisfied, i'll go for ie8. U have to audition it for urself to know.

QUOTE(chingwooi @ Dec 6 2009, 10:08 PM) I see, I love the design of CK100 as well, but the price is too dang exp that's why I didn't go for it. Bass is another issue to me coz I'm kinda basshead here. The bass is for me, is more than enuff, i can hear through fire and flames-dragonforce and can distinguish which is bass and which is drum beat, and its awesome! Usually i skip the song because i feel the bass is too overwhelming, but now i can enjoy it without fearing the overpowering bass! Price, yeah a lil' steep if u ask me. But just call me lucky lol! Its a balance phones means the sound issint too bassy or to dry. And it got some extra bass to compliment withe the balance sound. For less than rm100, this will suit u just fine.

QUOTE(Kain_Sicilian @ Feb 10 2010, 04:58 PM) Hi guys, I just bought a pair of klipsch custom 2 iems yesterday. When I got home and plugged them in my iPhone, I'm sorely disappointed. The bass was too heavy, and blurs into the mids while treble lacks the crunch. I thought I i bought defective iems. However, when I plugged the iems into my laptop, the iems became alive. It was perfect. I had both my iPhone and laptop's equalizer off. Later on, I tried plugging back to my iPhone and tried various eq settings. The best was probably treble booster, but it makes the treble a little too crunchy n highlight the echoes too much. I'm Lost right now. Sifus out here, any advice on what I should do? ur laptop must be using sound card am i right? so the sound produce from your laptop is different from the phone... give a time to burn in for 20 hours minimum before passing judgement.... 100 hours for critical listening....

Rm300 u can get a decent audiophile type earphones. Senns is good but got laid back sound signature which usually empahsis on bass. If u like bass then i guess its ok. But If ure looking for clarity and details u can go for audio technica range or the more cheaper ones, the soundmagic. Or u can go for less famous but really good quality like fischer audio products. Check out the garage sales.

take good care of ur earpiece.... u can buy the most expensive earphone on the planet and still gonna get broken because the way u handle/keeping the earphones.... get a good hard cover, still if ure so damn cheap or creative... go for the bubble gum tin. trust me... it'll produce a longer life span than putting it inside ur pockets.
