Its really is a simple and cheap way to supplement. Just drink black coffee/green tea 30 minutes before your workout. Don't worry about the "side effects", its only bad for you if u take in huge amounts. 1 cup on pre workout is beneficial.

U just eat chicken the size of a nugget ? Eat more protein. Protein use more energy to digest. Furthermore u need to recover your muscle cell after hard workout or exercise.

yup, i tot it would be okay since i'm not doing any w/outs today... huhuhu... i was wrong then... usually, when i intend to do w/outs for the day i would consume some white meat dishes... sweat.gif

Dont eat too much wholemeal bread or rice if you want to cut the fat. Reduce it little by little per week and weigh yourself per week. Say if u eat 10 wholemeal bread a day. Reduce it to 9 for that week, then reduce more until u can maintain your weight lost. But dont reduce your protein and good fat intake. And exercise 3-4 times a week. Replacement for wholemeal bread or rice is oat or vege smile.gif and Aida, you wont go fat if u eat enough protein. Dont be afraid rclxms.gif

If you're eating 6 portions a day, I don't think you should feel hungry most of the time. The whole point of consuming several portions a day is to prevent your body from being catabolic (hungry/deprived from nutrition). I think that MAYBE you're not consuming enough carbs in your diet. Why don't u show us an example of your daily diet?

isit? I think i`m more hungry if i`m eating more portions(smaller ones) in a day. The reason i break my meals into smaller meals is to increase metabolism...

Also, the right type of carbs....try consuming complex carbs only! limit your carb intake and try to eat it only in the morning
eg:
breakfast: Oats (with water if u can take the taste, dont add other stuffs, more stuffs = more calories)
Brunch: Fruits/lean meat
Lunch: lean meat + vege (vege has the carbs u need)
Dinner: lean meat + vege

Do remember that fruits has sugar too. This is what you can try, but the food that u are eating will not be super tasty la, now u have to eat to live and not live to eat. With strong determination, u will be able to see changes very soon...but dun gulp a huge portion in every meal oh~ good luck

lean meat: if u dun have type to steam/boil chicken/fish/beef, u can take alternative like tuna in brine....(not in mayo please~)
try eating 6 or more SMALL meals in a day...and exercise everyday!

http://wiki.answers.com/Q/How_many_grams_o...mmended_per_day read here about your protein needs. So if your weight is 90kg, you need at least 72g of protein. But if for people weight training or atletes, it say about 1.2g/kg -1.8g/kg means if 90kg body weight, need 108g protein at least. So you can try count your protein now smile.gif 1 full egg is 6g protein, 1 white only egg is 3.5g protein smile.gif 1 full chicken breast is about 48g of protein

i've look through kmaru's journal and notice that his intake of protein is large... maybe because he wanted to build muscle... I would have to try to learn n eat oats, since before I cant seem to swallow them... sweat.gif

I'm also surprised eat fruit only at lunch. for snack in between meals, then it's ok just to eat fruit. U must eat your 3 main meals properly. Enough protein and dont consume excess carb to cut fat. Your 3 main meals are breakfast, lunch and dinner. and prix, you a boy or a girl ? unsure.gif
