My friend wanna get an iphone 3g from optus telco back to malaysia. I heard some ppl said the iphone 3g need to wait for 5-10 days to unlocked by the telco. Here is the question. He is coming back in another 3 days. Can the iphone 3g still capable to be unlocked while he is in Malaysia?

this will at least answer ur question... but my past experience, they usually unlock in around 3 days time... they do have to call ur friend to verify if its already unlock or not....
