Hi ppl,
I have an iTrade account and currently trading Bursa equities.
I am thinking of investing in SGD since it's a stronger currency than RM, maybe buying up REITs and keep for long term. Does anyone know: 1. what are the fees involved compared to buying BURSA stocks? 2. when selling, is the FOREX rate good or bad compared to normal KL bank rates? I presume selling singapore equities will convert the funds back to RM before depositing into trust account? 3. How are singapore stock dividends come back? In cheque or credit to trust account?
Anyone with experience and knowledge, please help. Thanks in advance.

QUOTE(AVFAN @ Nov 12 2013, 05:20 PM) just noticed no one answered u... if not too late: 1. what are the fees involved compared to buying BURSA stocks? <rm100k, 0.42%, >rm100k, 0.275%. plus some other misc charges.2. when selling, is the FOREX rate good or bad compared to normal KL bank rates? I presume selling singapore equities will convert the funds back to RM before depositing into trust account? forex is normal bank prevailing rate on the day of settlement.3. How are singapore stock dividends come back? In cheque or credit to trust account? div in sgd is kept in sgd in the zero interest trust acc unlike rm trust acc. u can use them to buy more sg stocks. only when you make arrangement with them will they convert to rm. money is deposited into yr designated cimb acc. not sure if u can ask them to deposit in other bank acc.note... to trade sg, hk, usa with itrade, u need to sign some papers with the banker first. Hi AVFAN, Thanks for the feedback. Except for zero interest on SGD, this seems like a good tool to hedge against the depreciating MYR. My thoughts are to buy into SREITs for long term. Btw, I have access to sg bourse from iTrade, so I guess I might have signed the papers some time ago.

Hi guys,
I am looking for charts that shows historical P/E or historical P/NAV over 1-5 years. I am using CIMB itrade. Can someone let me know how to go about doing this, or point me to the right direction? Otherwise, can I do this in yahoo or bloomberg?
Thanks.

QUOTE(djhenry91 @ Mar 26 2015, 01:04 PM) web version dont have wor..but u can install KLSE screener on smartphone to view Thanks for the tip, I looked at the screenshots of the app, it shows current PE only. Another screen shows quarterly reports. Is there a screen that shows historical PEs, at least quarterly in a table or chart? Btw, I am more like looking for SGX counters. Thanks.

Hi all, in order to reduce Forex spread when buying US of any foreign stocks, best to choose settlement in MYR?
How's the rate MYR-US normally compared to spot?
Thanks.

QUOTE(jhleo1 @ Aug 10 2020, 12:19 PM) Back to Online trading with i*Trade@CIMB recently after long time not use, is it do eDeposit from Maybank2u subject to RM0.50? Sound weird because if I did online transfer & update Dealer is free of charge. I was also charged 50sen transferred from MBB. The state of our financial system really suckz. My remisier was surprised that I was charged. Maybe next time I'll just do the manual way, hopefully no extra charges.
