I have already open CDS with CIMB investment bank. I also already have register at itrade@cimb BUT this is before I have the CDS account. How to add my CDS account into my account in itrade? Do I need to make a new registration at itrade?

Thanks David83. So basically to trade online I must have CDS account for the BSKL to handle the stock, cimb trading account where money is put in there to buy stock or get money when sell stock, an itrade account for trading online and a trust or saving account for the divident? Am I right?

Thanks.
Ok so far I have Securitised Trading Account - Direct ( is this my CDS account?), CIMB saving account and already register with itrade before I have the cds account. What I need to do next? Which one of above is my trading account? Can I make my saving account as my trading account or do I need to open a new "Trading" account? I would like my saving account to be my "Trading" account where all the money to buy stock or from selling share including the divident is linked there. This way I dont have to put money in the cimb account where the agent/broker told me to put in for buying share. Can I do this? It's like all the money related to playing share is in one account which is my saving account as I want to accumulate them.
Also what exactly is trading account? In my case is it my saving account?

HYe. I already put RM1000 into my account. Hence my trading limit become RM3000. Then I bought share up to RM2500. Should I pay the balance of RM1500 or not? When can I pay them? Is there any interest charge on me? Thank you. blink.gif

If you're successful in the application, certain number of units will be alloted to you and will be credited into your trading account associated to your personal CDS used for the IPO application before the listing day.

If your applicable is failed or rejected, your money will be auto-reversed. When will be auto-reversed depends on the channel? M2U is pretty fast. CIMBClicks slower.

If I sell some share for RM2000 and buy another share for RM1500 in the same day do I need to make e-settlement? Or will it automatically balanced itself out? Thanks.

Also how do I check if my account is nominee or direct? My account type is T, what does it means?

contact i*Trade@CIMB Call Centre at 03 2084 9890.
u need to go sign up with a cimb broker.

u can link itrade acc to a cimb bank acc for easy money transfer.
if not, or manually bank in when u need to.

call and talk to them can't explain all that here...

Thanks. But I already have itrade account. Do I need to open a new account for click trader or just need a few clicks on the website?

if u oledi hv itrade acc, u can log in and buy-sell.

itrade and clicks are independent.

u only need clicks if u want move money between the two.

there are many who do not have any cimb bank acc and hence no need for clicks but have itrade. in this case, you move money between between itrade and some other bank acc. itrade provide easy online for maybank2u users (besides cimb clicks) but i believe for other banks, u need to physically bank in cheques.

So how can I enjoy the click trader brokerage rate of 0.0388%? I still need to open click trader account right? If I need to open one may I know how?
